Think so. I remember back then seeing some movie critics rate it the worst movie of the year.

because it was produced by george lucas after doing labyrinth.. but i never saw labyrinth.. i thought howard the duck was a cool movie...

does anyone remember - Legend, Solarbabies and Fast Forward.

Legend - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089469/

Solarbabies - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091981/

Fast Forward - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089129/

ps, breakfast club was one of the best styled costumed flicks ever with only 1 wardrobe set per character! each perfect for the role of the actor from dandruff filled tweeds to perfect pearls and dirty combats!

dated isnt cheesy but when you see the Wall street type that they represent, it is a bit too much bravado for these times (ie. insider trading being highly penalized and not even discussed nowadays). i just thought it was cheesy in some 80's way...........and the brick phones, the flashiness of it all.

i got the collection of Oliver Stones dvd set and saw Wall Street last night.
