The DJ rockstar shit only goes so far around here, because in the end the club owner is in fact king. Be it LP, Kenny and Cal at Crobar, Tony Guerra, or whomever. What would you have suggested they do for their birthday?Same Night12pm till 5am Murk at crobar5am till noon Murk at spaceBut it's not a question of crobar and ralph being able to do it, it's a question of lp allowing og to do it...you think club owners push dt around?you think club owners push morillo around?you think club owners push JP around?I can keep going...IMO do it at a neutral venue on a neutral night .. where no one has any intrests for either party .. oh wait thats' cafeteria (or as close to it) .. it was a good time for the time i was there .. i really wish they could play together somewhere like space , but unforatunetly sometimes politics get in the way. nick ,i agree with you sometimes , but i don't believe owners push dj's around .. who could just pick up and tour the world .. that goes for anyone in that position .. if anything the owners should be happy they can have a world class dj week in and week out locally without having to fly in the sander's and hernan's of the world .. variety is the spice of life, but i'm pretty happy with having our locals for the most part.
