Guest LdySphynx Posted December 8 Report Share Posted December 8 that when you hear it no matter how many years go by, it still gives you chills down your back???Like for example this morning as I was taking my kids to school, I heard the song from Mike & The Mechanics ( The Living Years) man and let me tell you it just hits me right there, I guess cause it is basically the truth. Alot of us will end up losing a loved one without being able to tell them you love them, I guess it does not help that it is the holiday season and this year I will not be spending NYE with my mom.....cause im going on vacation. But still, alot of us live such busy lives that sometimes we just forget to stop for a few seconds and just pick up the phone and tell that special someone you love them or how much you appreciate everything they have done for you. Well call me a sentimental fool, but after I heard that song I had to call my mom & grandma to tell them just that.....maybe some of us should do just that!!!! I've seen Sarah live a number of times, but this one particular show was with the Chieftains, and Paddy Malony did a flute accompanyment to this song...to this day I can't get that performance of my head, I get chills everytime I hear this song.
