Guest trancelator
I did some work for Make a Wish a few years ago. I also worked with underpriveleged kids when I was in school. Nothing that is very recent. I'd like to work at a food bank on Thanksgiving or Christmas though. I just need to get off my ass and do it this year. Guest JMT
just yesterday I thought about teaching underpriveleged children to learn how to read.... and just thinking about it was the most rewarding experience of my life. I could call it the JMT Center for Kids Who Can't Read Good. LOLbut now seriously... its not that much but 2 times a year i help organize a meals-on-wheels program for shut-ins. been doing it for over a decade.i have often thought about taking a "little brother". i have a buddy who does that and its very spiritually rewarding. Guest lyrik
I'm going to look into the reading for blind, we donate to a few charities (including one for animals - I love my dog as if he were my own blood - he makes me smile and laugh every day). I also do cancer walks, MS walks and I want to look into doing habitat for humanity. OH and I been meaning to adopt a soldier...basically its a pen pal type thing, but I think it would be really cool.

tgibson
http://www.bbbsa.org/site/pp.asp?c=iuJ3JgO2F&b=14584i think i'm going to joinWhat an amazing charity this is. I was at their annual fundraising dinner last weekend and they had one speaker, a mom talkinag about the impact the BB made on her young son's life. Wow - talk about powerful stuff. 1,200 people (somewhat drunk at this point) in total silence.
ryan2772
i made an effort to go out to SE asia the week after the tsunami, but the relief organizations don't accept volunteers. they are only sending out specialists such as doctors, etc. i'm using that motivation to do something here, after all, charity starts at home. ;D

Guest trancepriest
I turn off the shower when i'm lathering up. And even more I don't flush insects down the toilet. I also use human powered transportation quite often. Also I haven't added another soul to the human population on earth by procreating. When Mars opens up... I will quickly populate that planet though.
