yes, it's easy...

this is the easy and best way and you can get around the free ware limitations...

http://www.download.com/MP3-TrackMaker/3000-2169_4-10118620.html?tag=lst-0-7

you can only split a file 3 times in the demo version..

so lets say you needed to split a set up into more than 3 parts. you can just keep splitng the new files until you get them how you want..

make sure you have winamp, and when your playing the file in winamp and you get to the split pt you just hit the Grab winamp postion...

www.soundforge.com

a slick, easy little program to use to break up/edit audio (mp3's, wavs, whatever)....its free to try the demo, but probably cost ya a little to buy...

or you could search download.com or one of those sites for a program called 'cd wav'...its freeware and can break up larger sets into smaller files...

if you cant find software to do it, hit me up on aim today and send me the set, ill break it up for ya :)

Nero (cd buring software) does everything you can imagine. although its a bit convoluted to the lay person.

Being a woman definitely has its advantages. ;D

Audacity may be a bit more than you need, but it is freeware and highly rated. http://www.snapfiles.com/freeware/gmm/fwaudioedit.html

As far as converting goes, here is the Wave 2 program that was mentioned - http://www.snapfiles.com/get/wav2mp3.html

But seriously, the best converter that I know of, barring pricey professional ones, is dBpowerAMP - http://www.snapfiles.com/get/dbpoweramp.html.

It is technically freeware, and you can download almost every codec from their website to convert anything to anything, but there IS a one-time charge of like $7 to convert to/from MP3.

wow, must be a great set...

Carissa, looks like you need a computer guru in her circle of friends. I'd be lost without my bf's expertise, that's for sure!
