I heard that this global gathering is going to consist of a lot of cheesy rock and hip hop. Can anyone confirm?

so godskitchen is putting this on and its a 2day event? .. before WMC, during miami music conference?

i heard they tried to do this last year on the beach and permits got pulled?

you would think they would release a name or two to sway people to plan their trips around global vice ultra.. ill be at both as long as the lineup for global is solid and not the same names as ultra.. but still..

i dont know why people are buying presale tickets for global when they havent released any info on it. if it IS an alternative music festival then im gonna laugh when every1 that bought a ticket learns of that..............

im up for Ultra. cant go wrong with them. I mean, 8 years and counting is pretty solid stuff compared to an unreleased talent line up for GG.

If people wanted an Alternative Rock Festival then you should have gone to Buzz Bake Sale in WPB. I mean to sit here and compare GG to UMF is like Apples to Oranges.

And the fact is people have already said what's up with GG so far. Even if they book DJs to accomodate the EDM fans ya know it's not the bigger acts that you want to see anyway.

More than likely and this is my opinion if GG does get DJs for the EDM side of things you will probably see some names that we can catch at any point in time in Miami. you can save your money and see those types of DJs all year long at the clubs in Miami.

UMF has always brought the sought after DJs from around the world. How anyone can dog UMF for what they've been doing I don't know.

and for those that piss on the size of UMF and the crowds,

IF you don't like the crowds then stay at home and listen to a CD of your favorite DJ.

Its a party and people tend to come to party when the party is this good!!

If Ferry Corsten and Armin van Buuren are announced for GG then I would laught for all the House elitists ( Saleen for example ) making comments such as those of exposing House music to the Rock Kids with NIN in there.. when this 2 DJ's are pure trance and I see Saleen trashing trance.. Sort of Ironic isnt it?!?!..

Im def going to Ultra, and if those names in GG are confirmed then more then likely Id be going to it too, I just need some more names and confirmations. This persuasive thing of bringing other artists and mixing crowds vary's so I really need to see.
