I love how in the beginning the guys were suppose to be in NY or something but then you see a metro dade bus pass by, lol. I was confused as to why they were taking a road trip to miami if they were already there.

Shut up people...shit like this keeps the tourist dollars rolling in

+1

Publicity. Dade had the right idea. More tourists and new residents stimulate the local economy, and something like this will definitely help the nightlife industry. Think out of the box people, look at the big picture. ;)

I mean, what did you expect? You can't make a show out of the "real" 2006 south beach. Bunch of people hanging out having a good time at Lincoln Rd. Shopping at Publix. Laying on the beach. Hitting up the clubs. While it is certainly way better than life in Bumfuck, OH, it isn't really gripping drama. Maybe in the 80s or 90s, it might have been. I mean, the most drama we have here is the lady who sues Surfside every year for displaying a menorrah but not a creche for christmas.

this show is too much! lol......people in other cities must be thinking they are missing out paradise.... Publicity is ok but at least try to keep it as real as possible, imagine someone coming to visit miami and going to Nocturnal lol...or that club "City", I was thinking while I was washing the reaction of u all, it was hilarious to me ::)

I remember living in Dallas when that show was really popular, and it was about as accurate a portrayal as South Beach was for us. Whenever we travelled, people asked us if we had been to that ranch.

Difference is

from a demographic standpoint

13-19 year old high school girls buy the most CD's and buy the most products from television advertising

This show is focused on them

From that standpoint - it could be an exciting, sexy, hip, good music, good acting great time to watch

From everyone else's that lives here and works in this business

WE CALL IT SH"T

This just reminded me about the time I was in Israel and some kids from the pool asked where my brother and I were from and when we told them the United States they asked if we knew the people on 90210. Of course we told them we did! lol
