Take a spoon full of vodka out of the vodka glass and put it in the tomato juice glass. Mix it really good. Now take a spoon of this mixture and pour it back into the vodka glass. The glasses again have the same amount of liquid. Is there more vodka in tomato juice or more tomato juice in vodka?------------------Beauty projection into reflection is always the worst way to start.[This message has been edited by dzadza (edited 08-21-2000).]

cathyo
I'm impressed!! Here's one that I thought was easy but it seems to stump a lot of people. What does a rich man want, a poor man have and is more evil than the devil?------------------A mind that is stretched by a new experience can never go back to it's old dimensions. eggmok
fine, i'll give an explanation . . .the portions are unequal. when you mix the tomato juice + vodka into the pure vodka, the pure vodka has less in proportion, 1 tablespoon. so you're adding a the same amount, although diluted, to a smaller portion . . .i don't have an answer about the rich guy yet . . .---------------------------------------------Life is too short to be small. You actually bring some vodka with you too. It's not that simple As far as the rich/poor/evil thing goes... I'm not really sure, but probably there's NOTHING more evil than the devil, and you could say that rich man wants NOTHING and poor man has NOTHING (I don't really agree with the idea, but you see where I'm going...)------------------Beauty projection into reflection is always the worst way to start. ibelong2thenight
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That..Dont know about the rich guy either but here's another brainteaser...There are three lamps in a room- the room has only one door and NO OTHER openings. Outside the room are three switches. If you can only enter the room ONCE (no you cannot break down a wall to peak in) how do you determine which switch belongs to which lamp? ibelong2thenight
all the lights are off to begin with and you cannot see ANYTHING inside until you enter the room that one time you're allowed to.
dzadza
This was a good one, took me a while to get it. Turn two switches on. Wait for some time. Then turn one of them off. So you have one switch on and two off. Now enter the room. The lamp that's on matches with the switch that's on. Now touch the lamps, the one that you turned on and off will be warm, and the cold one is the one you never turned on. Works?------------------May be one day I'll be an honest man... dzadza
Anyone knows other logic puzzles? I've got interviews coming up on Thu. and Fri. and need to exercise a bit. I know this is not the right board for this shit (I'm looking on other sites too), but some of the problems on this thread were pretty good. ------------------May be one day I'll be an honest man...
