Watch the meters and the posted time. The meter folks are right on top of the game.I got a ticket a year or two back, I thought that I would be ok if I had ten minutes of a gap at the end of the meter. I got the ticket 5 minutes before ten pm. $55 to the man.I should be able to sneak in to a really small spot nearby, if it does not get too cold. And if I do, it is Hot Tea, not margaritas...
