They were really different with a total random mix of people but that's what gave it character, I thought.Do these things bring back memories?The rain room!!!!!!!!!! gnice Posted January 18 Report Share Posted January 18 I was just talking with my firends the other night about this. It was definitely one of the craziest experiences I have ever had. The water was actually eight dollars and people were actually drinking from the spouts that some other people were bathing in. The first day and a half things were fine, but after that it went downhill. The bathrooms were surrounded by a 20 foot shit pond, the showers were under 3 feet of water, and people were pitching tents on top of other tents. Luckily me and my friends were one the first people in. We had a big campsite, plenty of food, water, gatorade, grain alcohol and pills. If it weren't for that it would have been miserable.As for the raves, I thought they were different but cool. I was rollin face when everyone decided to throw the yellow frisbees around. At first I thought I was just seeing shit, until they started belting me in the face. That was right after the Metallica set and the fireworks. What an amazing time. We were set up right next to the West Stage. It was one of the best times of my life, I was so cracked out after that though, I almost got fired from my summer job for it. We were either shrooming or E ing from the minute we got are tent set up to the minute we took it down. gnice Posted January 18 Report Share Posted January 18 We brought in two cases of water which half of them were filled with grain. We hardly touched the stuff. I was rollin the entire time. We brought five cases of gatorade and we went through it all. My friends got shrooms and ate them while I was at the limp bizkit set. i was so pissed! We set up at a campsite right in the middle of the two stages. We attached a huge 15 ft blow up bud light rocket and attached it to the tree we were camped under so we could find our tents. Ran into my ex-girlfriend, who I broke up with two weeks before. I couldn't believe it!!! 275,000 fucking people and who do I run into, the bitch fro hell. We were both pretty messed up so it wasn't bad, but when it started to wear off a bit and reality set in, it wasn't pleasant. Saw many people fucking, that was pretty funny. I got whip sticked by a riot cop because I was walking to close to the food area. That was fun! (jk) Couldn't walk for a week. I got back and literally 5 within 5 hours I was rushed to the hospital by ambulance because my body shut down! My gall bladder was seconds from exploding. they had to do emergeny surgery. I was out of work for a week and a half, and when I got back to the office, everyone thought I OD'd on something. That wasn't good. I actually had an infection that was building for months and it just decided that it was time to get out. Doctors were constantly asking me what I took. I told them, but in the end it had nothing to do with it. I work in a pretty upscale business so I was shunned for a while. charrails Posted January 19 Report Share Posted January 19 HELLZ yeah...I went there...my girlfriend is the bomb she bought me a ticket for my birthday and brought me for the best time....Plenty fungus, many disco bisquits,lottz of wackytobacky, & good music/peeps, BUT we slept through the first nights rave and I heard we missed Sandra Collins....all in all the best weekend of my life.....
