weyes
my non-clubber friend smokey and i are planning to go to pvd (with some board people as well ) , but we're having some fashion emergencies.i've heard conflicting reports about the dresscode; some say that twilo is not kind to ravers, while others say that pvd and s & d bring out a pretty large rave crowd and that the bouncers don't care. almost all of my gear is ravey, so i'd have to do some serious searching (or wear something not as comfortable) to dress another way.smokey wants to know if she should dress more downish or uppish, 'cause she's either got jeans or dressy stuff, nothing "clublike" or inbetween.so, what can you say to help a raver and her casualish/dressy-ish friend? ooana
I personally have never seen anyone have any problems w/ dress code at twilo. Where whatever you're most comfortable.Be ready for a *very* long line unless you get there very very early.-Oo------------------"When the soul wishes to experience something, she throws an image of the experience out before her, and enters into her own image." -Eckhart"I heard of a man that says words so beautiful that if he only speaks their name, women give themselves to him.If I am dumb by your body while silence blossoms like tumors on our lips it is because I hear a man climb the stairs and clear his throat outside our door." - Leonard Cohen
mattyparsons
if your clothes are cutting off the circulation from your heart to your brain.... PERFECT!nah, the only real code is sneakers and comfy pants, things which are conducive to dancing like you've smoked a boulder of crack. otherwise you may feel some serious foot/leg pain the next day and into the next month.------------------chicken salad!!! saigray
I'm wearing my most comfiest pants, my lightest tank top, and sneaks...I;m not there to impress, I'm there to DANCE!!! And as for the bouncers, I'll wear a nice coat, so they think I'm stylin' :-) See ya soon..
