italiamale1977 Posted November 29 Report Share Posted November 29 This past Thanksgiving weekend I was in Atlantic City. I went to three clubs there. "The Wave,"(Trump Marina) "The Casbah" (Taj Mahal) and Studio 6. All three were awesome on Friday and Saturday. If anyone goes down there, these are the hottest clubs. Don't let anyone tell you differently. The Casbah kinda reminded me of Metro with an addition of dancers up in the cage and along the walls with plasma TV screens. trevor69 Posted December 6 Report Share Posted December 6 casbah was actually a decent club for ac...went there a few times over the summer and had a blast studio 6 was ok...its an after party club...the best time to go there is when ur really wasted so u don't have to worry about the whacked ass people and the horrible set-up dejavu another club in ac was mediocre...another place u want to be really drunk to have an ok time Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The funniest thing happened there too that night! I swear this lady must have been 90 years old and she was in the middle of the dancefloor dancing away to "Heaven has a sense of wonder" And thats when I started to bug out! ibclubbin Posted December 11 Report Share Posted December 11 I actually live two towns over from AC, so I was in Casbah every weekend this past summer....Its a nice club to chill in, especially if you want to take a break from all-night gambling.Friday night was good, because the club was chill. Few meatheads, but definitely an older crowd. Also, being Atlantic City, you get a wide selection of Hispanic girls, if thats your type.Saturday night was all Philly and NYC meatheads though. Same DJ as the night before (who happened to be my high school chemistry teacher!) and more or less the same songs as before. But a LOT of good looking people.Studio and Deja Vu are ok...too many shady people on drugs....There is another struggling club called Enigma, but its not much either.The thing about AC is that the clubs are all small, one, maybe two rooms, and there is much less business in the winter time, so its hard to make money. Enigma will be gone soon, Casbah will be around because it is in the casino and people will always be there, Studio 6 caters to the alternative scene which is large in AC, and deja vu brings in crowds too.My final recommendation: Deja Vu friday Casbah satbut either way, youre better off in Philly! sin-sational Posted December 12 Report Share Posted December 12 YOUR BETTER OFF DRESSING UP FOR CASBAH, I BELIEVE THERE IS A DRESS CODE FOR GUYS.AT STUDIO YOU COULD WEAR A PLASTIC TRASH BAG AND STILL BE ONE OF THE BETTER DRESSED PEOPLE IN THE CLUB. mike74 Posted December 12 Report Share Posted December 12 Studio 6 is definitely trashy and the crowd can be a little rough, but it's definitely the best club for hardcore partying and dancing til you you can't feel your legs. They are also making the club a lot bigger. For those of you who have been there recently that's why the back staircase to the upstairs bar is closed off - they are breaking into the adjacent building. If you peak through the curtain you can see the ceiling of the new dance floor and it is A LOT bigger. They were shooting for Jan. 1, but now it looks like sometime before Spring.
