If you could live anywhere in the World other than NYC

Recommended Posts

where would that be? and if their's a reason, why?

Obviously for me, one selection is san Francisco. San Francisco is a great town. All kinds of bars, their's a really good live music scene here, and copious amounts of outdoor activity. 3 hours away from one of the bes tskiing locations in the world, IMO.

Another place would be Amsterdam. One reason is obviously the looser attitude toward soft drugs, but I really like the architecture there and the people have a really good attitude overall.

I would also have to say San Francisco. It's just such a beautiful city. And everyone is so amazingly friendly. But I would have to be a little older and more settled to live there.

Miami.. I love the hot weather..nothing better than strutting around in a bikini all the time.. no make-up and sun kissed glowing skin.. and the standard of living down there is alot cheaper than here.. If I were to earn the same amount of money I make now, living in NY, I'd be set..I'd have a gorgeous house on the water.. in palm beach/Boca/ Ft. lauderale or coconut grove.. and get myself a nice boat as well.. hmmmm...

I understand that you love New York, it's pretty clear, cause you live there. I love NYC too. But that was not my question... It was what place other than NYC....

Thanks for breaking down the question for me but I understood it the first time. So Let me re-phrase my answer, there isn't another place i would rather live in than NY. I have traveled alot and love to visit other places but I would not want to live in any of them.

Id have to say Miami. what can i say, i have Cuban blood. I love the sun, the people (i can relate with them all, LOL) the standard of living (money wise), and its alot more laid back. They also have a Great nightlife. None like NYC's but its good. The way of life there is kick ass. But, the only way id leave NYC is if i lived next door to vampie.....Marcy in a bikini....WOOOWWWWWWY!! HELLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOO NURSE!

Amsterdam. Definitely Amsterdam. No wait, that would be bad - because i'd sit in the coffeeshops from morning (free breakfast!) till night and then i'd never get anything done.

I think i would just like to live everywhere... just never settle and keep on hopping from culture to culture. yay!

I would want to live in Hawaii. But I'd want all of my family and friends to live there to so that I wouldn't have to spend a fortune on airfare to the mainland!!!

I would have to agree with Prague - even though i've never been there - I just know that it's full of unique excitement.- I've often dreamed about it.

Other places - paris, of course - there's nothing better that a rave with 10K people on the quai by the Seine river with Notre Dame just across the way, blaring techno music until 6 a.m with no complaints or cops. Fun is just a way of life.

Barcelona is another beautiful and progressive place to live with a great party life on the beachfront!!!

ok - i need a vacation now smile.gif
