gravity Posted June 14 Report Share Posted June 14 Hi to all,I just wanted to drop a post to say hi to Dmitry (nice seeing you @ SF on Sat.)And to everyone else who reads and posts here with a love and passion for clubbing here in NYC or Globally for that matter! It's what we live for, right?Anyhow, I told Dmitry that I would drop a post here, and I'm a man of my word.I just want to say a HUGE thanks to all the people out there that have supported me and my music and parties over the years up until now at Vinyl every Friday.I know that what I do is different than most DJ's and you sort of never really know what your gonna get from me, but that's just me "being myself" like JP and many other DJ's/Artist whom I have a great amount of respect for. So I'd like to thank those who listen to differnet sounds with an open mind and don't come to my party with expectations of what you think it should be. It is what it is! I could not and do not expect everyone to love what I do, that would be impossible for any anyone. I try to express myself with music that I love and appeals to me with the hopes that the audience will love it too, and after more than 25 years of sticking to my guns and doing "my thang", Thank God people have come around to appreciating it. I am not in this to be known as a #1, blah blah,there is no contest here. As a matter of fact, unfortunately, now that we have lost our beloved Twilo, I have been trying to tell people to PLEASE not tell anymore people about our Friday's at Vinyl becuase I don't want our party to bejeapordized either. We are already at capacity and are happy with it just theway it is, so this is NOT a Vinyl promo hype post. Vinyl is sort of a private party where we don't neccessarily appreciate glowsticks, flashights or gimmicks.Also of MAJOR importance, Vinyl will be getting even more heavy on the securitysince there are still a handful of people who disrespec parties and on occasion need to be escorted out. Vinyl is a ZERO Tolerance venue, and I persoanlly beg everyone to please BEhave if you come. If you see anyone jeapordizing the party with an illegal activity, PLEASE contact our security or a manager. We can't afford to lose any more clubs in NY! God forbid Vinyl and SF were also to suffer what Twilo has! What would we do? Where would we go? We have to protect what we have left, so please take care of yourselves, think of the future and "let the music be your choice of Euphoria!"And now the "Plug Alert" >>> lolHowever, I did tell Dmitry I had said yes to playing at SPACE in the Hamptons on Tuesday, July 3rd. I'm very excited and am looking forward to this event. I already went there to check out the new layout and sound system, and I thought it was pretty pumpin.... So I hope to see some of you there. I'll be boppin up and down like usual in the booth.
