xkingchangox Posted August 9 Report Share Posted August 9 Did anyone read the Todays Newsday article.It appears that monday P.Gatian is going to bancruptcy court to get the courts approval for the sale of LL and Tunnel to a company by the name of Tunnel lTD and someone else. If this is true it will remain open for at least another 4-6 weeks pending a formal closing. Here is something that everyone might find interesting obviously unless your an attorney or have been in bancruptcy you would never know this. No im not bancrupt but in my business I bail many out of BK or pilege them.From the moment a person or a company files for BK 7,13 whatever all assets,money ,accounts ,business or property basically need permission from the court in order to be sold,given,destroyed any thing.Ultimately you and everything you own go under the control and protection of the US BK court therefore you need their permission to do anything.So he just wont close up like that the court has to approve the sale and hes just trying to squeeze the last blood of out those two rocks. fuclubkidd Posted August 9 Report Share Posted August 9 I heard that Gatien was selling LL to john blair a while ago....and blair was going to change the name, but i cant remember what the name was suppose to be (i remember it was something spiritual though). and i heard that it was only going to be half restaurant....kinda like OHM was....LL needed to be shut down and it needs some major renovation, it has so much potential. hopefully blair, if he is the real new owner, will turn it into a classy club so that it can compete with the clubs and lounges that are within walking distance....well that is my opinion and i look at it this way...it cant get any worse than it already is.....i miss how LL used to be in 1996 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
