snappy139
really 14 y/o. Did he not that he had to be 12 years of age to be in the Little League? I was surprised to see someone to be throwing 70 miles per hour at 12 y/o!

brooklynkid
real big surprise gee, he's 6 inches taller and throws 20mph harder than all the other kids. It was funny all along watching family, friends, and league officials deny the charges, and now it's funny to see the press conference where everyone tries to cover the egg on their faces.Sadly, this is nothing new to Little League sports.... bigpoppanils
its really stupid. its just a baseball game! the team didnt take first place! lets see...2 staten island teams spent $10,000 on private investigators, then sports illustrated put its credibility on the line, and spent time and money getting at those documents, and god lknows how much space was wasted in the media on this...all over a little league game which meant shit!now, over these little league games, a kid (who most likely didnt do this on his own accord) faces deportation. only in america.... brooklynkid
Ahhh...corrupt youth sports. It's the adults that will do anything -- including manipulate children -- for a winning team. With an arm like that, why didn't they put him in a Pony League or a Babe Ruth League? He would probably be pretty good against kids his age.Everyone knew about it. The league should be stripped of its 3rd place title. And their charter should be revoked. You gotta start somewhere if you want to teach a lesson, no?OH MY GOD...I am turning into Rudy Giuliani...someone stop me before it's too late! snappy139
The fucked up part is that he is not even going to school in NY since he has been here. At least be a U.S citizen. Whats even more rediculas is that this kid will end up playing MLB and making more money the we will ever see. It's quite obvious that the coach's knew how old he was and if it were'nt for people wondering how a kid could possibly pitch like he did!!!
