andwhysee Posted October 4 Report Share Posted October 4 yes the FNDY and NYPD guys did their job and many lost lives on duty..but, they didn't really save anybody. i begin to think if the FDNY/NYPD guys didn't go into the tower after the first hit, more people would've evacuated cos the FD and NYPD guys were walking upstairs and taking many spaces. im not trying to be an ass but realistically the FDNY shouldn't have sent anyone to the building. Their purpose of going in was to save lives and also to keep things under control. Think of all the commotion going on during that time period. Obviously you had your thumb up your ass during all this time to even THINK about what it was like minutes after the first attack. If you had a relative or friend who is now missing, as many of us do, you'd sure feel differently. The FD and NYPD are heroes to the victims and to this very nation. Just because there hasn't been much recovery from the site does not mean they aren't people that should be emulated by everyone in this entire nation. I can't beleive that you are so insensitive to the feelings of everyone affected by this tragedy. THey always hit the frug dealers up for cash were in the pocket of criminals hell we even had two scandals were cops were sellign drugs out f the precint, so generally I'm no big fan of the police, but I have to say they did they're best when those towers got hit. The plane itself wasn't the problem....It was the full tank of jet fuel that caused the fires to burn at more than 2500 degrees which caused the steel to melt and thats what caused the buildings to come down.A plane once crashed into the empire state building......Its still standing.Know what your talking about before you open your mouth, Moron!
