phrankadelic
i would rather see them here personally. that's not a good week for me to travel.hey barbie - what's so wrong with Orlando to make you DISLIKE it so much?

phrankadelic
ummm....you might be thinking about kissimmee (sp?). but i can assure you that orlando is NOT only for children.
digital7
Orlando is pretty straight. I lived up there for about a year. The downfall is the curfew which'll could put a stain on the evening. The road trip sounds good regardless eventhough I wish it was down here, it's just more practical ....
bbflux
Even I have a serious problem with being gathered up like cattle and shown the exit at 2am (and you all know much I like to be home kissing my baby by sunrise ). I don't know, the whole curfew thing really bugs me. If I'm gonna go on a road trip and leave my son behind then I'm going to PARTY I just can't imagine the party being over only three or four hours after walking in the door. phrankadelic
who said that party had to end at 3? and i don't mean afterhours at some club either. i have a few tricks up my sleave in orlando that can have us partyin till the break of dawn...and maybe even later! I'm not a big Orlando fan either. Even if I'd never been there, I would be immediately skeptical of a big city in Florida not located on the coast. Orlando also seems to be full of little suburban kids trying to act all ghetto/street. To me it's just a totally fabricated community, I'd never want to live there. Of course, if a decent job opp came up and it was in Orlando (seems to be a better job market up there than here, at the very least).....I'd have to take it. phrankadelic
a lot of people are quick to make assumptions about a city they know nothing about.

miamijosh
Orlando is for pussies......
patrickl
Not me, I've been there too many times, though not clubbing. It's just not my thing. One good thing about it for me, though, there's some great mountain biking just north of it in ocala....
phrankadelic
well i lived there for a couple of years and went to school @ ucf. granted it was a lot better when i lived there, but it's not anywhere near as bad as people make it out to be. plus they have possibly one of the best music schools in the nation - full sail.
