mfiorellino
Funny you should ask. Actually I was going to the University of Kentucky in Lexington. Being in Lexington and Louisville wasn't so bad and actually Louisville's bar and club scene was better than other cities I've been in. But when one ventures into the rural parts of the state it gets kind of scary. It was like the Jerry Springer show come to life. Trailer parks, guys named Buford, people getting married while still in high school. I almost felt like an anthropologist studying primitive cultures. I had to leave because my dad was laid off from his job and couldn't afford to send me away to school so I transferred to St. John's and finished up over here. sassa
The whole Midwest seems to be really hicky..I lived in Ohio for 6 months a few years ago,and thought I'd die of boredom or finally go on a rampage with an Uzi at the local bowling alley...it's a lifestyle I just can't get into..but each to his own,I guess.
