yeah, I had fun.

I guess the obvious problems of heat and overpopulation weren't lost on anyone. Other than that, it was good.

Nice CP turnout... (No thanks to brooklyn old guy :) )

cara, wool, sarah walker (if you even read this board), nice seeing you all again.

Shouts to littleD.

JayP: I personally liked your enthusiasm, i'll have to check out that movie...

So the place itself is really cool, nice lighting, good sound, a mix of people. I definately want to go back there for something a little less crowd drawing.

I'm with ya there, joe ;)

I indeed had a good time. I was a bit disappointed to see Luke leave so soon, but Eh, he's a busy guy. (Look for his new album to come out sometime in April)

Def. was nice to see the CP crowd there, and i really loved the lighting-imagery of open spaces on the wall n stuff.

Shout Out's to the following wednesday night junkies  :

MuGz-- loved the hat

Lainie-- nice to finally meet the gal behind the cotton ;)

joeg, roha, bogb, little D: good seeing/bumpin into you

hacker: DUDE...what did Luke say to you

and to 2 other people i met that night (not sure if they're on CP: Greta and Chris (thankx 4 the drink)

When's the next Static Clean night?/?

nothing except he immediately remembered who i was from my interview with him 2 years ago, and the album's worth of material i had put together at the time (for those that don't know i produce some pretty fucked up techno/ambient/breaks/dnb), and straight away asked "how you been?... so when you gonna send me some more of your stuff, man?" to which i immediately replied where to? and i asked if he'd seen michelle ferguson, the pr chiq who hooked up the interview back then, and he dropped everything to walk with me to point her out... good to see both of 'em again... it was like no time had passed at all. i love that.

Well, it's good to see nice people who aren't stuck up or caught up in the glam of the industry :)

Freakin nice that he remembered you, kris.... now whatcha gotta do is send him your music, check out his latest album, and see the shout-out and sampling list containing "thehacker" in it :D

Hmmm I thought sara had a bf. Well she introduced me 2 someone she told me was her bf sometime last month anyway. I wouldn't advise you to try that again with her or Cara, Maudy seeing as they're both already involved. Katie and Kelly, I have no idea since I never ask cuz I think it's unprofessional (not to mention possibly sexist and none of my biz). Anyway, not trying to lecture you, just giving u a lil friendly advice & a hard time.

As to the nite, I think I'm slowly getting over the fact I missed what sounds like a wikkid party. I'll probably have recovered by sunday (assuming whatever's now making my throat sore doesn't get me seriously ill b4 then). And I wanna 2nd what an earlier poster said about Shack, sounds like he's a top bloke (like Coombs, Guy Hatfield aka Hyper, BLIM, and General Midi all have been, not to mention every local DJ I've met who plays here). Maybe we're the nicest scene per capita in the city.

I really hope to see those of you I've met b4 (as well as those I haven't, namely JayP ;) ) @ Turbulence Sunday and I for one will be especially amped for it since by then I won't have been out (i.e. clubbing) in over a week (faaaar 2 long in my book). I think I got a serious dose of cabin fever. O & on a side note, Sara will be playing Bittersweet Breaks next Wed @ Level X in Williamsburgh, so I'd strongly advise you to go since you get her, Mike, and Royce, and you cannot do better music wise. Though to be fair, Big Apple's debut party with Katie, Glen, and Cara looks pretty good too.

This is off topic, but I'm betting those of you who don't visit the music board or the other non-CP boards I frequent are more likely to see it here, than elsewhere, and it is breaks related, so here you go:
