It's new, it's clean, set up is very nice, lights and sound systems are good, the staff is VERY FRIENDLY and POLITE, and to me the music is good... I have NEVER once had a bad time there... OK I just need to touch on this a bit, the setup is horrible, you walk down by the bar (on the DJ booth side) and it stops,the only way up to that section in the back is thru the dancefloor, which if busy could be a hassle, there are at lest 2 other places they could have put walkways to get up there, no where to go, not much room to move if its busy, it gets very clustered up in there, the way the two rooms are split is kinda silly as well, they went with very dark decor, but yet the club is very lit up, the lighting needs to get re-programmed, place just really doesnt get a vibe, please no one @ Platinum take offense to this just my opinion, I do have an honest question though, who designed the place? If not it blows and is a waste of money. The place is small, the set up horrible, the bartenders suck...I could go on all night.Wait...it gets better! Now they are cutting off promotions. Things were better before at least when I didn't have to pay. Now you think I want to pay $15 to get in there...think again. Also, wait till they turn the side where you first walk in to a hip-hop room. That will kick ass...I think not...that is the ultimate demise. You got some set of balls posting this slyons.....considering your a promoter yourself and promote some of the lamest parties that new jersey has to offer. you should have stayed out of this. I've personally been to platinum a couple of times and had a good time on both nights. the crowd was a little off but the music for the most part was good. The set up could be better but the only thing that matters when i go out is 1- The Music and 2- my friends....ibclubbin......don't take it so personal.....its a message board and people love to start drama. I think its all in good fun when we say something about this club or that...whether good or bad...but when you start to single out specific DJ's (most of which are on this board), I mean that is just completely wrong. There are other posts recently (some by barbie girl also) that put down specific DJ's that post here. Send them a PM or something, I dont think there's any need to disrespect somebody in front of this board. I have no respect for anyone who does that.......
