  1. hell yeah...this is great. aryn and I will (hopefully) be in by 7:40pm.... :):) on the dancefloor by 11:30-12 who knows. 18+. that's just terrible. Makes me feel juvenile for attending this event, however whatever. it is what it is.
  2. website @ www.pmloungenyc.com mmmm i love good parties.
  3. from my friend Tyler- the man who used to do APT sundays with patrick duffy- ive posted some of his things here before too. I wish I could make it to this one, but i think ill be busy getting ready to come down to Miami. Wanted to invite you to the new party I'm doing > tomorrow night, Thursday June 17th, at PM. There > will > be free sushi and wine for those who get there early > around 10. I will be working with Richard Ellis and > Chris Anthony, so when you get there tell the > doormen > you are there for their party. Look forward to > seeing > you there. > > PM 50 Gansevoort ST > between Grenwich and Washington > 10 PM - ?
  4. Yeah I feel you, I am done from seeing PVD at a club, i might see him at the 4th of July but other than that I am done also. I think its too much money to pay to go see any DJ. yup. i dont even think im going to go see pvd here in Central park (didnt go last year either) . I cant take the 18+ and im feeling way more of the sander k, sasha and nick warren sounds nowadays--- still love the 80's electro that ferry is doing, though. 8)
  5. Dude, WTF are you talking about? Privilege cancelled both of those events, and telling someone to go there instead of Nikki's is nuts. Privilege is great for an evening event, but most visitors are looking for something like Nikki's when they come here on a Sunday afternoon. Evan, go to Nikki's. Dan, stop telling visitors to go to bad parties. Great post, Nick. Thanx dan. douche bag jk We'll try to check out the raleigh too. though we may just end up relaxing on the beach and then doing dinner- who knows. if no one else is going to nikkis or raleigh i dont want to go.
  6. these are my exact sentiments too!
  7. Dan, will you be photographing the event?
  8. I will be in town until around 6 on Sunday- how is Nikkis on Sunday afternoon? Im not sure if it is still good, I know it used to be great...What do you guys usually do on a sunday these days?
  9. also, has anyone even heard of 3 Speakers High? I can find very little info on them on the internet.
  10. I have an artist friend who is doing a project where he needs to compile a CD with songs with robotic voices prevalent in it. EG: Ferry Corsten - "Rock your Body Rock" can anyone offer some suggestions? The genre does not matter here-
  11. Nice Tim! I was wondering why I had a missed call from you at 2am this morning. this is goood news...after the terrible reports from nyc, i was concerned that he'd be sucking this time around. ;D
  12. Evan, reschedule your flight for another day. I won't be in Space this Friday. ;D that's unfortunate...though not to worry....im down several times a year- where will you be? Carisa, ill call you this week to discuss! xo
  13. Awesome! Cant wait to see you all. Carisa, level, my people, im sorry i havent been responding to things- I was away for so long and it is happening again- i am very eager to get down to miami and im looking forward to it....yet ive got so much bs to do in the meantime-- it's weighing me down- so i'll be glad to take a much needed break to come down to Miami-- Right now i feel run down and am cynical about the weather- i was just in the south this week for work and the weather was terrible! Say it isnt so in miami, please. anyway, sorry for the cynicism. im totally amped to come down, and im glad that markus is opening, that's great news! C- let's talk this week, we obv need to get together right away- Id like for us to try to go together- if possible, i hate meeting in clubs.
  14. anyone ever heard of this track? im looking for it digitally for download. Im not even sure what genre it is- a friend asked me about it. x
  15. haaaa so true. furries are quite interesting individuals---anyone ever seen the documentary on mtv? The International Furry Meet-Up is in NYC in 3 weeks! http://furries.meetup.com/?country=1000&localeId=&zip=10009&referrer=www.google.com&a=meetup&display=&setLocale=0 I might have to crash that party and find myself a thundercat for the nite. meowww
  16. I cant believe we were there and didnt even see eachother- I was on the opposite side of the heat lamps and by the bar most of the night. indeed, the party was A-List - and I definitely think it will be the place to be this summer- the bartenders and staff there are uber-polite and really extroverted too. (eg: I demanded that one of them lick my tongue as I ordered a drink, which they did, and gave me a free drink) but they must fix that Dj situation...not only were the speakers shit, but people kept walking behind him and tripping over the extension cord, thus knocking the music out. I went to Park afterwards, and what a shithole that was compared to the Maritime event- zero class- I felt like I was in a big meatmarket. APT was much better- Sunday and Thursday in the city are my favorite nights to go out- exceptional. Anyway, I spoke to Lincoln and he said he was very happy with the night too- Erich Conrad was incoherent so it was difficult to get his take on the night, however they did say that next Sunday will be open bar and a formal opening party- ;D though ill be in miami, Antonio you should definitely go!
  17. Joey, what time did you leave? I must have missed you by minutes--- This party was divineeee last night- Got to see a ton of friends and it was the perfect nightcap to a fun weekend- I got there around 10:30- Had dinner at cafeteria and then ended up stopping by APT for a small event with open bar = I think that this Maritime sunday party will be big this summer-- though they have to fix the speakers on the terrace because it kept cutting out. regardless I think the crowd was superb=---- good times.
  18. I heard the event sucked ballz....which is to be expected when one has Tiesto at such a small venue in NYC. SO glad I didnt bother trying to go- I heard it was so unconfortably overcrowded....plus there was a nasty fight apparently- thats what happens when you pack clubs like that! people can only tolerate the bumping for so long. I cant stand that shit. This is why a DJ like tiesto should be at crobar - I keep hearing from everyone how good sander's set was...and they had him on the stage in the front of the room, rather than up in the DJ booth....this is what I always imagine as myself when im fantasizing on the elyptical...
  19. those who know me know I have a major problem with Long Island Iced Teas and Kettle 1 dirty martinis. I enjoy wine as well-- mainly cabernet and Pinot Noir for Reds, and Greek whites as well as Sauvignon Blancs. In a normal night, I'll mix it all up. This is probably the reason I want to blow my head off the next day.
  20. Im not sure if I really want to know if he did that well...it was a difficult decision not to go....a smart one, but difficult- I';ve been listening to Sander sets non-stop recently and would really have liked to have gone...but these all night endeavors are taking a toll on me financially- sometimes even rockstars need a hiatus... :-[ Sander's set from Ultra is exceptional, and I listen to it every single time I go to the gym, it doesnt get old.
  21. Thanks EV...I'll pass this along to the owners...They'll be happy to hear this. Antonio, there's tons of great places to take a lady to dinner in the village. There's a bit of everything there and the majority have atmosphere. im not real big on the village, but I love Da Silvano's...it's a really great Italian restaurant there. There is also a greek restaurant called Gus'. That is also terrific. I enjoy the meatpacking district a lot- it's got a very hip, romantic, trendy atmosphere in a neighborhood that is filled with meatcutting warehouses. At night ther eis the smell of beef yet some of the best restaurants and nightlife is right there too. plus cobblestone streets- very cool. There, Id check out MEET. That place is the perfect place to take a date. Or Rhone- that;s pretty good as well. Pastis is great, though it gets a bit hectic at night sometimes- and is a bit bright for my tastes. L'Express on Park Ave is a great place to take a date for cheap. Also right in that area, near union sqw- Candela is awesome! ALSO, one of my favorites, right near ABC Carpet on 18th st, i think, is PIPA, probably one of the finest spanish restaurants in manhattan. Also Pompano on 49th and lex for some of the best mexican - my roommate works there too- I think this place is spectacular- those are my fav's. Also, Blue Water Grill is a really, really great place to take a date---right in Union Sq. trust me! And finally, on park ave and around 20th street-- there is Dos Caminos- that atmosp[here is fantastic and food delectable, and also right nearby on park and 18thish is Park Avalon- also awesome and with a trendy romantic sexy atmosphere that is guarantees she'll have her foot in your crotch the entire meal and drinks so stiff she'll be begging you to take her back to the hotel. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
  22. Did anyone go to this event? I wanted to go so badly, but chose to stay in and relax- was asleep by 1:30am.
