  4. For anyone that uses vitamins and other supplements: Your right to choose your vitamin, mineral and other supplements may end in June of this year (2005). After that U.S. supplements will be defined and controlled by the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the World Health Organization (WHO). The CODEX ALIMENTARIUS (Food Code) is setting the supplement standards for all countries in the WTO. They will be enforced by the WTO and will over ride U.S. laws. The U.S. President and Congress agreed to this take-over when the WTO Treaty was signed. Violations are punished by WTO trade sanctions. CODEX drastically restricts vitamins, minerals, herbs and other supplements. CODEX met secretly in November, 2004 and finalized Step 8 (the final stage) to begin implementation in June, 2005. The CODE includes: No supplement can be sold for preventive or therapeutic use. Any potency higher than RDA (minimal strength) is a drug requiring a prescription and must be produced by drug companies. Over 5000 safe items now in health stores will be banned, terminating health stores as we now know them. CODEX regulations become binding internationally. New supplements are banned unless given very expensive CODEX testing and approval. CODEX now applies to Norway and Germany, among others, where zinc tablets rose from $4.00 per bottle to $52.00. Echinacea (an ancient immune-enhancement herb) rose from $14.00 to $153.00 (both examples are now allowed by prescription only). They are now drugs. Vitamin C above 200 mg, niacin above 32 mg, vitamin B6 above 4 mg, all are banned over-the-counter as drugs. No amino acids (arginine, lysine, carnitine, etc. = essential amino acids!), essential fatty acids (omegas 3, 6, 9, etc.), or other essential supplements such as DMEA, DHEA, CoQ10, MSM, beta-carotene, etc. are allowed. Inform yourselves fully at www.ahha.org, www.iahf.com, and www.alliance-natural-health.org.

  19. Something like that: [glow=red,2,300]"[/glow]The almost infamous bar Bora Bora in Playa D'en Bossa, Ibiza, is closing down, as announced by it's organization through their website. The closure has been due to the consistent pressure by the local police because of constant claims from the neighbours about the noise. Bora Bora opened it's doors in 1997 and soon became one of the top places in the island, which held numerous first class international artists such as Brandon & Alex, Danny Tenaglia, Mr C, Malcolm Duffy, Fergie, and Todd Terry. [glow=red,2,300]Bora Bora, managed by resident DJ Gee, is currently investigating the possibility of illegal and anti-competitive actions from other club managers.[/glow] In his website Gee has made a statement about the unfair competition from the biggest clubs in Ibiza to smash the small ones. DJ Gee said: “Jealousy and greed are very powerful and destructive human emotions and unfortunately we now see them being used against all who have been coming to Ibiza to enjoy the party and make it wealthy over the past thirty years or so. Well a few clubs closed us all down and so there's not a lot left on this island except a Space that smells of rotting cherries and a forgetfulness of those that have made them wealthy and thinks of no one or anything else but it's own greed." "The small sharks that have gone along for the ride in this destruction are doing so because they are running scared and have a jealously of their own to get out of their system, they have also been used as a form of camouflage to disguise those responsible. But the cowardly act has been uncovered, people are really not as stupid as they think. I wonder who is next, and when there's no one left (which is not a long time away), I'm sure they will be picking on each other again."[glow=red,2,300]"[/glow] Letter from Gee: http://www.ibiza-voice.com/news/news.php?id=439
