  1. Russ, dont know your friend. I just know the owners and the promoters at this point, im new there. Tell him to email me: adam.freemer@sea.siemens.com. Places arent open late because of gay ass PA laws...3:30 is all you can go till without a special permit that you can only get so many times a year...like what shampoo and transit, and the new gasoline do. Weird liz heh?? places get packed for like 3 hours in philly.. JP's... (junior partiers) hehe... ------------------ "Children, come together, in the spirit, OF HOUSE" -Aaron Carl
  2. you can always check his schedule at www.dtenaglia.com! -Adam if you ever wanna go...email me for da list.. adam1@psu.edu ------------------ "Children, come together, in the spirit, OF HOUSE" -Aaron Carl
  3. The rumor was DT was offered exit but turned it down. Like previous replys, Danny plays where he wants and he considers vinyl his living room, he can do anything he wants and the owners are extremely cool, unlike the other clubs. Ask around what the people at exit are like! Anyway, when you still have people thinking that exit dj's and sf dj's are 'da shit'... youll understand why it wouldnt be like vinyl. Vinyl is 100% music lovers, no fashion show, no bs. Danny is literally top of the world right now in europe and around the world, it'll take some time, but it will filter down to ny at some point... Maybe this home thing will help. Danny in a big room?? hmm... never say never.. -Adam ------------------ "Children, come together, in the spirit, OF HOUSE" -Aaron Carl
  4. mike, girls are fickle.... my experience is they usually want to go where the fashion show is...like the big room places. Hat blanket statements, but thats my experience in general... There are the musiclovers! But, vinyl is all about the music.. if you didnt notice!! tell her to relax!! feel it! -Adam ------------------ "Children, come together, in the spirit, OF HOUSE" -Aaron Carl
  5. Hey guys, stop at transit first if you can...im opening from 10 till 11:30 in the main room.... say hello if you stop buy! -Adam ------------------ "Children, come together, in the spirit, OF HOUSE" -Aaron Carl
  6. Im in philly...but ill be at vinyl by 1... If anyone from philly ever wants to go up to vinyl... I can always hook you up with the list to "ease the pain.." -Adam ------------------ "Children, come together, in the spirit, OF HOUSE" -Aaron Carl
  7. Vinyl virgin...thats cool... Just get ready for something completely different compared to what youre used to. No big dramatic builds....just a smooth ride... I suggest getting there by 1, so you can exprience the "show". Unlike many clubs, Danny will start off mellow, build it up and by 4am...hold on... Youll be sucked in to the magic. Experiencing "the build" is something you have to experience for yourself. If you come at 4am or so...its like walking into a movie thats halfway over. -Adam ------------------ "Children, come together, in the spirit, OF HOUSE" -Aaron Carl
  8. Ill be there of course! With my GF calyandra... our pic is in the pic thread... Where else is there?? Danny back from london...oh my...prepare to bruise them feet tonight..hehe... Anyone need the list?? email me! adam1@psu.edu -Adam ------------------ "Children, come together, in the spirit, OF HOUSE" -Aaron Carl
  9. Ill be mellow...but I was gonna drop some "love you some more"... new to the philly people.. -Adam ------------------ "Children, come together, in the spirit, OF HOUSE" -Aaron Carl
  10. Go there and check it out...i personally am not a fan, but judge for yourself, then check out the other clubs...vinyl fridays (my fav!), twilo fridays n sats, exit... depends on what you want... -Adam ------------------ "Children, come together, in the spirit, OF HOUSE" -Aaron Carl
  11. Hey philly peeps.... I will be opening for david alverado at TRANSIT this saturday from 10 - 11:30 in the main room. Ill be playing some mellow and then get into some uplifting house by the end of my set. Hope some of you can come! Peace to all, -Adam ------------------ "Children, come together, in the spirit, OF HOUSE" -Aaron Carl
  12. I absolutely do not hate the factory.. Its a great place and Ive had some good times there. I just dont care for pretentious people who make pretend "oh, i like the music...blah blah" to cover up their little drug addictions and ass addictions. Because there are soo many better DJ's, known and not known who deserve to be making the rediculous loot that JP makes for trainwrecking half of his mixes every saturday. Put Tiesto, PVD or Sasha in SF, and then we're talkin. Note im not a trance fan, but they are at terrific world class DJ's worthy of the great place the SF really is. -Adam ------------------ "Children, come together, in the spirit, OF HOUSE" -Aaron Carl
  13. Lets clarify this music thing...This "I go to SF for the music thing" always erks me... You really think people would go to SF if all the girls were big fat and nasty and all the guys were big fat and nasty as well?? I think maybe 10 people would show up... And that's the staff... ------------------ "Children, come together, in the spirit, OF HOUSE" -Aaron Carl
  14. hey shchwingpep...easy on my woman...ill have to get medievil on yo ass...and play country music... Hi Lizzy... ------------------ "Children, come together, in the spirit, OF HOUSE" -Aaron Carl
  15. I agree with you on the guys rachel, they are there for the same thing... but thats what those kinda clubs are about...IMHO -Adam ------------------ "Children, come together, in the spirit, OF HOUSE" -Aaron Carl
  16. Well, being noticed is what the SF is...a big bar basically with loud music to make approaching someone easier. And when girls wear clothing that covers about 1% of their body, and expect guys to NOT get all over them....PLEASE! Girls dress like that to get attention and to tease guys and see who they can get. If you dont want the attention, dont wear the slutty outfits and go to a club that is about the music not about the steroids and silicon. Wise man asks: If a cop is off duty and wearing a police uniform, does one not assume he is still a cop? If a whore is off duty and wearing her "uniform" does one not assume she is still a whore? ------------------ "Children, come together, in the spirit, OF HOUSE" -Aaron Carl
  17. sep 19th hopefully...some people have it already.. its bangin, the best gu to date, definetely like a night at vinyl...you come to vinyl cholo??? -Adam ------------------ "Children, come together, in the spirit, OF HOUSE" -Aaron Carl
  18. Umm... I wasnt disrepsecting peters, I respect him a great deal for pulling off a 12 hour set every saturday, that is a feat in itself. but uh, hes been in the circuit for 15 years... maybe if youd take your head out of his ass youd realize there is life after factory and JP and there are many other good dj's as well. Ive had some great times at factory but people tend to go there for the drugs and for the hot bodies... Id bet $1,000,000 if JP stopped spinning and they got someone else playing the same stuff, attendance wouldnt even change. ------------------ "Children, come together, in the spirit, OF HOUSE" -Aaron Carl
  19. Guys, IMHO, I dont know how you can classify an up and coming DJ who plays commercial music as up and coming. No disrespect to commercial music, progressive, trance etc... Thats what everyone else plays, so how can you distinguish yourself as a DJ if you play the same music as everyone else? Nothing against JP or the factory, but anyone can get the latest whitney houston, toni braxton, zombie nation, etc.. and play them. Peters outside of the NY area is really unheard of and the only people that really know of him are SF people. It's my opinion that if you really want to make it in the business you have to be unique, have your own sound and play your OWN music. I myself admit that DT is my mentor and everything he plays is amazing, but I try and play my own style when I spin. Ive seen so many DJ's with fancy names and stuff...when all they play is the same commercial stuff as the rest. What are people supposed to think .. "Wow, he can mix zombie nation like no one else..." ??? The european DJ's are completely different and have their own styles... PVD, DT, Diggers, Sasha, Tiesto, even Oaky, all have their own unique sound... Thats what its about, not who can tear up the latest amber.... again, IMHO, not meaning to start drama here.. -Adam ------------------ "Children, come together, in the spirit, OF HOUSE" -Aaron Carl
  20. I am personally sick and tired of hearing this BS from Metallica and Dr. Dre. Now they're lawyers just asked my school (PSU) to stop allowing its students to use Napster. What do they think they run this frigging world?? Check this out.. http://www.collegian.psu.edu/archive/2000/09/09-13-00tdc/09-13-00dnews-2.asp I am mainly a househead, but used to listen to a little metallica here and there, but I have lost all respect for them and Dre as they have turned into money grubbing losers who care only about how many yachts and fancy cars they can park in their driveways. -Adam ------------------ "Children, come together, in the spirit, OF HOUSE" -Aaron Carl
  21. SF97, My residency is in the backrooms... but I will be playing on the mainfloors periodically.. I actually was more hip to the backroom to start with.. If you go out in philly you know what the crowds are like now, so I have much more freedom in the back room.. I refuse to play commercial music just to DJ, to me, id rather not DJ at all. My opinion is, if you need to play anthems to get people to dance, your programming sucks and you cant pick good music. -Adam ------------------ "Children, come together, in the spirit, OF HOUSE" -Aaron Carl

  23. Its extremely difficult to make it these days. Nearly impossible, it takes years of dedication. I was very lucky by getting my shot and opening at vinyl last friday. There arent many people in the industry like Danny Tenaglia, who give small peons like myself a shot. He's one who, even with his status as one of the best DJ's in the world (the best IMHO :] ), still remembers how difficult it is to make it in the business. My eternal thanks to DT if he reads this post... Anyone here from philly... Im starting a residency at the new GASOLINE: FUEL SATURDAYS (the old 8th street lounge) saturdays... starting october 14th... and wednesday nights at TRANSIT..mid october as well... hope you philly people will come and check it out. Ill be playing deep, dark, tribal house in the vinyl spirit, NOT the progressive cheeze that most play in philly now. The people who run both clubs told me they are really trying to make a difference in philly, by offering something different. Hope to see some of you guys there. -Adam ------------------ "Children, come together, in the spirit, OF HOUSE" -Aaron Carl
  24. Calyandra and I at SPACE in miami for DT..woo woo!! ------------------ "Children, come together, in the spirit, OF HOUSE" -Aaron Carl
