  3. It is asking DJ's and them doing favors for the promoters. Who cares it is a GREAT lineup for it to be free
  4. Could it be VooDoo Ray? Couldnt believe he played - (Can you Dance) to My beat, GREAT Song As we dance to a beat that seems out of time To the one you feel in the metronome of your mind Does it offend you that our rhythm looks strange Or causes you thinking to be re-arranged Could it be that you would understand those beat to which we dance More clearly had you been given the chance So as you struggle to find the feel with your feet Ask yourself............can you dance to my beat Also Sheendawg it was great to see you.

  6. Well on the East Coast, there is NO dominant promoters, Rob Gee is quickly bringin back Local 13. Other than that there are ALOT more pertenders than promoters. Wack Ass crews only out for the almighty dollar have taken over the scene. Your best bet is to save your $$ and travel to parties, Florida, Canada, Cali, and Europe. You can gat a mini vacation along with a good party. Also Sykopath, is one of the BEST underated Dj's in NYC.
  7. It is the same BS lineups that are killing the scene. It isnt about skills it is all about who u blow
  8. I am NOT sure where I was. I know when I came back to Centraal I was from the right of it, but have NO idea where the hell I was. I am uploaded my pictures today and then I will write a review. I will say that Mykonos was BEAUTIFUL, and the day I slept there we woke up at 5pm. My trip back was VERY LONG, and I get goose bumps thinking that I was in Athens on Thursday and yesterday there was a plane crash there. I got a call at 7am at DT telling me that there is a plance crash in Greece and I left my 2 friends there. I am hoping to write my reveiw VERY soon.
  9. Mine are free, but they are only up to aminute clips. They had big boom camera's over every area filmin everything.
  10. My boy use to work for Connerstone Records. They use to make a promotional mix CD each month. 2 years ago they started doing mix DVD music videos too. The mixing aND editing were tight on the DVD. I watch that shit on MTV now and it sucks hope yours turned out ok.
  11. On Saturday we didint get there till 5 pm so we missed alot. But we did catch Chris Liebing, Paul Van Dyk, Tom Harding, some of Michael De Hey, Carl Cox, Darren Kay, Darren Emerson, Richie Hawtin vs Richardo Villalobos. EVERYTHING was AMAZING, lights, productions and stages were all done up in some sort of theme. I will post pictures soon. As for Coffee shops, I like BaBa the best, also like Hill Street Blues. I went to Barneys, La Canna and a few others. I did write a memo for each day so when I get the time. I got home today after 2 days of travel, from Mykonos to Atehens to Amsterdam to NYC. I got lost last night in Amsterdam for 2 hours, Made the wrong turn and got lost in some neighorhood. NOT one person was willing to help, they would just say walk straight. So I finally found Centraal Station and was back in business. But over the next few days I will write a review and post videos and pictures of Dance Valley and Dave Clarke. My friends who are still away have over 2 hours of Dance Valley Video. Rob are you meeting up with Nurse glow in Greece?
  12. Saw a Ultra Ny flyer at Dance Valley. Suprise the isht out of me
  13. HOLY SHIT rob thanks Alot, The party was PURE madness. There was 3 inches on MUD everwhere, but it didnt stop anyone from going out and having fun. I was at the PVD set fromm like 4m minutes to like 1 hour and 10 minutes. The place was so big we didnt find themain stage till after 9pm. I am DEFINTLEY goingto order the Carl Cox video from Saturday, simply AMAZING ending with Fireworks. Left me SPEECHLES, I will write a review soon with ALOT of pictures and video. IF ANYONE has a chance to go to this festival, GO it is like NOTHING u will ever see. At one point they had a helicopter over head droping rose peddles (yes rose peddles) and LOTS OF them over the festival. Will write a full review with pics and video
  14. I seen him at Dance Valley and was really impressed. I was expect chessey trance but heard Born Slippery and Higher State on Concicous and was going nuts after those he moved back to the trance but hyis mixing was on point and he did a GREAT build up of High State, combine that with 10 multi color lasers and WoW. shit was HOT
  15. I will rephase this, I never heard any live but I really like DJ Klutch's CD's he does it all.
  16. I heard Richie Hawtin at Dance Valley, and I guess since he was booked in the Ibiza tent he went the Minimal route. Only hung out for like 15 minutes and moved on, I was looking for some Techno, which I found in many other areas. Still good lookin on the video, I have ALOT from Dance Valley and will post them when I get some more rest.
  17. Nice Review I just got back from Amsterdam and Greece, when I get some rest I will wirte my little review. Glad u had a good time.
  18. she told me 2 check this site out, www.jagg.co.nz
  19. O shit I have a friend who lives in Christ Church, she is here in NYC for like a month now.
  20. Whoever wrote it, I think it is FUCKIN brilliant. Pretty much sums up NYC that is the second good post/thread today. There is a post on DTOURISM about Losing our freedom/ living in a police state. The thread is so on point that it is scary.
  21. Chus & Ceballos, GREAT thing about it you will get to see alot of them for free. DAM 2 more days Rob (by the way I am Vinnie) my friends (glowgirl and Dr Flow) are stayin at the airport. I am stayin a mile away from the airport. I am going to wait for them to explore Amsterdam. They have both been there so I wont go into the place blind. I am going to go to Super Fly for a little while, I have a few hours to kill before they get there. Do you think that rolling a blunt would be a good first time experience? I am also goingto shoot you a PM
  22. I dont think my comment will be posted so I posted it here too Only the people who brought in the DJ's moved over to Spirit. Thus the lineups that used to be at Avalon are now at Spirit. The majority of the people who went to Avalon, will still go to Avalon. The (majority) crowd they attract go JUST to go OUT. They havent got a clue of the talent that was presented to them. The people who followed the DJ's will move to Spirit. Avalon if they want to stay open as a club (IMO) need to bring in NEW exciting talent. I mean how long can they live off of DJ's like Tony Draper? They need big names to attract the big crowds. Local talent can only take you so far. One more thing they should take a look is their staff, they have ALOT of SHADY people that work there. They have NO clue how to treat people with any respect. We are the ones spending our hard earned money to keep the place open and to be man-handled and physically abused by staff is and should NOT be acceptable.
