  1. I have a fairly good idea which one of those acts Duckets would take part in. Jesus christ you can come up with some shit.
  2. That Cd really blows. The only upside was Jason Ojeda, and there was nothing really good about the mixing.
  3. Yes, I mentioned that I wanted to see Aquagen in NY. I will definetly be making that occasion on April 6th.
  4. If it were the show "Seinfeld," I would like to be Jerry. He had a fairly easy life; he wrote some material for his comedy act, and got payed decent money for it. He had a nice apartment as well. Or perhaps Kramer. There was never any evidence of him working, but yet, he had a beautiful apartment as well. Seems like a fairly easy life.
  5. "The Daughter of Time," by Josephine Tey. Great book. I read it a few months ago, it's a really good book about Richard III's kingship, and the investigation into the atrocities that he supposedly took part in. Also, "Richard III: The Great Debate" by Sir Thomas Moore; very old, but very good. Basis for the majority of what Shakespeare writes of in "Richard III." Also, "The Culture of Child Molesting" by James R. Kincaid, is really good. It describes how children are exploited in various ways, through news, literature, film, and, advertisements. It traces exploitation from the ancient to the present, using the baby boom generation as a measuring stick for the rise that took place after 1927 in America. It addresses how a culture that is so sexually oriented gives birth to children that become sexually aware at younger ages, and how that trend is passed on all too quickly through the generations. It also raises some interesting points about children being one of the most valuable and abundant commodities worldwide, and as such, one of the most abused. At first, Some of it seems overboard, but after reading the book, alot of it makes sense. Kincaid manages to find child exploitation in everything from calvin klein ads, to the old citcom "Leave it to beaver."

  7. The Muppet Babies Theme, The Transformers theme, GiJoe, HE-Man and the masters of the universe theme, and Thundar the Barbarian.
  8. The storyline for Event Horizon had a great deal of potential. However, what they did with it was something far from justice. Certain elements of the movie (i.e. when the ship finally returns as a "haunted" craft) were left undeveloped. The actual part that held my interest was where the ship had been and exactly what caused the ship to become posessed in the way that it was. That topic was left up in the air, and it was hardly in a tasteful fashion. At least giving a glimpse of what kind of horrors the ship encountered would have been sufficient, but that was not even done. Reasons and explanations don't always have to be given in movies like Event Horizon, but it is always good to recieve a glimpse of what is incomprehensible. That is the purpose of the sci-fi/horror movie. Not everything needs to be seen in a good horror movie, but something needs to be provided so you can form an adequate mental picture. That was not done well in this movie. [This message has been edited by rudeboyyouth (edited 03-19-2001).]
  9. Junior Vasquez or Jason Ojeda. Both are worthy of the prestige, and have earned it beyond the shadow of a doubt.
  10. You'd most likely enjoy meeting me in person, Duckets. We'd have a fun time. I am sure you're a very sweet girl as well............and as for that body, I could take a fairly accurate guess and say that it is more than worthy of penetration. Dipeddy Dapeddy Duckets.
  11. Event Horizon? I didn't really find that movie very scary. Rosemary's Baby is the scariest movie I have seen, by far. Calm, subtle, way ahead of it's time, and brilliantly directed by Roman Polanski. Very few horror movies scare me like that one did; sometimes it's what you don't see that really scares the shit out of you.
  12. Yes. As a matter of fact, a meeting between yourself and I, would be more than appropriate. Digeddy Duckets.
  13. Larissa - I do both Jay and Jane
  14. Don't give up - Chicane Supernova - Transa Sparkles - Dj Tiesto Adelante - Sash Provider - Ernst n Ben I Want You - Z2 Sunstorm - Hurle and Todd Bass Fly - Tillman and Ries She Does - Quiver Turn it Around - Alena Sandstorm - Darude Angel - Ralph Fridge Deadline - Dutch Force Sanctuary - Sanctuary Beautiful - Mash up Energy - Brother Grim Hear you calling - Aurora One or two of the artists are incorrect, it always happens on the bootleg compilations. That is the listing on the cd though. [This message has been edited by rudeboyyouth (edited 03-10-2001).]
  15. That is a phat song. I haven't heard it spun live in a long time. I actually know someone that loved that song so much he had the title of it tattooed onto his lower back. It looks pretty phat.
  16. They both blow on Friday night.
  17. Clockers was without a doubt, overrated. I would have expected something less cliched from such a superb director as Spike Lee. My favorites would have to be: Malcolm X Do the Right thing (groundbreaking for it's time) Bamboozled Summer of Sam Crooklyn
  18. Nueva York: The capital of the world.
  19. After saying that word to yourself, it sounds a bit weird: "Potion."
  20. In The Summer, it would have to be CPI's. I like Jason Ojeda's style, as well as the crowd. Year round, it would have to be Soundfactory (saturdays). I am hardly ever dissapointed with the music, or the turnout. And twilo saturdays if off the meter as well....really late into the night though, around 6 or 7 am on Sunday. The music is unrivaled.
  21. Exit Saturdays is far better. I always have a better time, the music is better and so is the crowd. Boris always plays good music, and his rough, hard style of mixing is unrivaled.
