  1. Well regardless of the legitimacy, though he used post here in the past so I am told, the spirit of the post should be taken to heart.

No one likes to be degraded for doing something they are passionate about, no one. To rip someone apart because you don't like their sytle is fucking juevenille and pure jealousy. Flexing your keyboard muscles makes you look like a chump.

Keep it positve and let everyone build off of that, thats how the scene grows.

    It's all about the music.

  2. He has sworn up and down in numerous publications that he would not do any mixed comps. He believes that they would not live up to his playing live and would cheat his fans out of that experience.

You got to hand it to the guy for not selling out and he is drug free too. He is one Dj who truly loves his fans.

He could get some serious change for a mix...

  3. Hey all,

Had an idea to plan some meetups for the board in a few of the cities parks. Set up a system, some DJ's, all day (sat or sun) so everyone could meet and just chilllll...

So, where would you guys like to have this go down? I am thinking Astoria park, Midland Beach in SI, Owls Head in Bay Ridge and Prospect. I am looking for suggestions today so I can get the applications back to the parks dept. Manhattan parks are a bitch to get, so keep that in mind.

-Also DJ's on the board, I think we should keep it in the family for the most part. So if we do an eight hour jam we will need eight DJ's a day. Email me if you are interested (tom@clubplanet.com)

  4. Yeah, lay off the guy. You may not like his music, but there are a lot of people who do. If you want to see how many, check out some of his spots, there packed.

Denny is one hard working mutha, style is subjective, but hard work gets you far.

Though we may thirst for different beverages, the bottom line is we are all thirsty.

-working all day on the no sleep tip, spitting out out shit, my mind begins to drip... on to the floor.

  5. September 2nd dude...

It is going go down during the day though,

I applied for a park permit and just waiting for the ok's from them. Manhattan was hard, but we will be doing them in the other boroughs, like a fall outdoor series, free to all...

We will set up a soundsystem and get a bbq going and just chilllllll. I will make a formal invite this week hopefully...

  6. Hey, Dynamix, Thanks for the shout!

I got there (aria) after two and it was going strong. The crowd was really good looking, lot of hotties all around. I am stoked for next week. Tuesdays @ Shampu are coming up to, so if you are in the neighborhood stop by.

-also Timo Maas rocked it @ Twilo for the early shift, top set.

  7. Hey thats me this afternoon hard at work in the clubplanet office after two nights of no sleep, bottom left.

What do you guys think of a daytime meet up in a park? I have applied for a permit from the parks dept. for September 2nd.

We will set up a system, some decks and have like a BBQ. It's hard to get one for Manhattan, so it will either be in Brooklyn or SI (I live there unfortunetly)

I did a few last year and they were a lot of fun.

  8. Just to let you all know,

All day party @ Speed on their roof top

They are putting a halfpipe on the roof, have a few pro skate teams to ride it and

    performing live:

    M.O.P.

Rah Digga + Rampage of the Flipmode squad

DJ's- Pete Rock, Marley Marl, Evil Dee, Tony Touch plus many more.

MTV & ESPN will be there, it should be crazy.

I am not a hip hop fan, but I want to see them skate the roof.
