  2. Cool, cool... the drama is still there for those who love it and away for those who don't.

It does seem like the same person or people do start the problem, you can read into their narrow minded insight, very similar, smells like sabotage...

too paranoid lately.. got to get over it...

  3. hey all,

Dave has come up with a solution I think we all might agree on (yeah right, but lets try) and that is to move topics to the drama section when they get to heated. Cool heads will then be able to post in peace and the trouble will go down south, to the new NYC drama section.

The problem with cutting or removing posts has to do mainly with issues pertaining to censorship and becoming a liabilty. Who says who can say what is and what isn't appropriate, or what happens when someone posts about killing everyone in time sq. tommorrow and we miss it and they kill everyone.. who is at fault. But whatever, this will keep the two entities seperate. IF You don't want to hear about it, you no longer have to. Lets move on and get some peaceful & positive vibes going again.

We got a good thing going so let try to keep the bitchin and imposters at bay.

Please give some feedback, we could use it.!

  4. Hey guys, I know this shit is getting out of hand, but when you start limiting what can and can't be said you run into issues of censorship as well as liability. The 'you did this to me why not her' issues will arise and the game just starts again. SOooooo... If you notice the new NY Drama section that Dave put up, thats where it goes. When these 'you suck, this DJ sucks, your naked ass sucks' shit comes to the boiling point, thats where it will go.

We hear you and we're with you on it, so let keep moving and when the drama goes from bad to worse it will go south to the drama section.

  5. Great article Russ.

I agree with yo on all points. I just recently started using CD's but I still don't feel comfortable with them. I have been getting a lot of stuff on CD lately and I couldn't ignore it anymore.

Also, I agree with Corbett too. The caliber of tracks availible has leveled the playing field a lot. Even if you look @ the track listings for mixed comps by the Big Guns, the tracks are availible a lot sooner than they used to be. Point in case, the new Dave Seaman, last one it took months to see a lot of those on the shelves, but it came out a week ago and so did most of the material. I know that with the market the way it is, they use celebrity tracklists to leverage sales but couple that with current technologies, the secret weapon club is a lot smaller than it used to be.

Anyway enough rambling, good article again Russ.

  6. This is getting boring.... let it go guys, nobody wins. The more you argue, the more you all lose. Lets get on with this already. Leave the guy alone. He's no where near the top of my list, but the guy has a strong following, a dedicated crowd and is making some serious loot for his productions. Though this may be mind boggling to some it is natural to others. Let burry this already.
