  1. after reading your last post i have to say you don't know shit...no i am only joking... seriously that was very well spoken and made alot of sense, i applaud you. I agree lets not make this board a representation of New York.. As far as Open mindness i will be the first to try something different thats the only way you will settle into your own niche anyhow. again very well put... P.s. I happen to love hard house, and i am not ashamed to admit i have never really hear much of carl Cox's material, anyone have any suggestions as to which cd is a good one? ------------------ I take my problems to the dancefloor...
  2. smokee got his nickname cause his gun barrell are always smoking after taking out punk bitches... show em your teeth smokedawg.... bark at em... grrrrrrrrrr... ------------------ I take my problems to the dancefloor...
  3. lets get out of the genre of electronica all together. what other types of music do you listen to? you say places where trance has made a hit people really know there music and love all styles? so bascily what you are saying is something to the effect of Nyorkers are not knowledgeable about music, and we don't love it? All styles of music certainly moves outside the realm of house, trance, and jungle. Onto a bigger spectrum of lets say,pop,rock,electronic,hip-hop,rap,country,regae,latin should i continue?? just for the record i am not looking to start drama. what frustrates me is it seems on this board you are not entitled to your own opinion without someone jumping on your head screaming how jp suxs or does K, or how glowsticks sux and are weak and played blah blah blah. who cares the fact of the matter is if jp makes me happy so be it, if oakie makes me move so be it, if peter tosh and marley make me nod my head is tht wrong too you know because thats not even in our scene.. ------------------ I take my problems to the dancefloor...
  4. now i really know your a moron, he was being sarcastic, shit do you even know what side your on or are you just a blithering freakazoid? ------------------ I take my problems to the dancefloor...
  5. I understand where you are coming from, I am not sitting here saying OH JP oh JP oh SF SF, its not like that i wish some of you would just get over the fact that jp packs a room. So does oakie(whom i have seen perform live) and s and d (whom i have seen at twilo a few times) dj taucher, pvd to name a few.I In no way am saying this without prior knowledge of there music, I have most of the gu's from nick warren, to sasha all I am saying is everyone seems to be comparing, comparing, comparing. Why??? Would you compare a lexus truck, with a dodge viper? 2 totally different cars, both equally as phat in different ways.. As far as JP and CC or Oakie or whoever else, jps been only big for about 3 years, the man is a great producer (yes of whitney tracks, and debra cox, don't forget brian mcknight, oh ya DMX too i know that one hit a nerve, shannon, garth brooks, mary j blige, george michael, and many others. sorry pooh i said it, too bad he makes more $$ than any of us will see, sickening huh?)as a dj i will be the first to admit he has a lot to learn he has at times bored me, and at other times had me moving all night long. i will say it again to each his own... look this is soo old drop it already.. who really cares anyway come saturday i will have a drink at factory for all of you people. ok... enuff already... ------------------ I take my problems to the dancefloor...
  6. wake up new york has always been behind europe in music and fashion since as far back as the beatles... thats just the way it is... ------------------ I take my problems to the dancefloor...
  7. are you again reading what you want? shit what kind of education do you have? did I say JP changed carl cox??? can i ask a question? What club do you goto on saturday night??? answer that for me and we will proceed. ------------------ I take my problems to the dancefloor...
  8. what are you talking about we dooooo have a pool maybe i bit merky and a little deflated, thanks to shootin's crew... that pool lasted all of 4 hours...lol ------------------ I take my problems to the dancefloor...
  9. well since I was the one playing gladiator in the lions den, I sowwwyyyyy... Nah but in all actuallity I agree in no way shape or form do i think Jp is G-D, i just think the man is talented. I like sf and I like JP's music, I go to have fun isn't what this is all about anyhow... so I *taking off the sparring gloves* am saying truce... except with you smokee you bitch...lolololol ------------------ I take my problems to the dancefloor... 10. uderstood, don't worry your a girl i wont beat you up,(besides your a cutie too) but on the serious level i understand that euro djs are moving into hard house and what not, isn't that what factory, and twilo(with junior, and even exit when tsettos was there, dj boris when he was with the limelight.) and most of the other nyc clubs have been playing all along. europe is the one coming full circle, trance never seemed to really pick up in nyc, maybe in Miami it hit a homerun but not in NY. I mean why do you think these djs are kept to a friday night and junior still does his residency on sat. If the people wanted to hear Euro djs over JP or JV don't you think the clubs would accomadate the PEOPLE. I do money talks... Fact is alot of people in ny just don't like the european genre of music. And to be really honest i could care less about what goes on overseas. I don't live there, so what goes on in zimbabwee doesn't affect me, what goes on in manhattan does. just making a joke.... ------------------ I take my problems to the dancefloor...
  11. heheheheheheheh.... hi... ------------------ I take my problems to the dancefloor...
  12. oh i will agree with you 100% factory and the whole scene has gone wayy downhill. its terrible actually i have had this discussion with many of my friends, now it seems like everyone just goes out to look better than the next guy and its all about who can get the most fucked up. no doubt i don't deny that in the least. it has actually made me feel dirty at times beign in the scene. its not about the music and having a blast anylonger it has become a drug hangar. bring the OLD factory back when JP was REALLY on. 2 years ago. thats what i would love. but unfortunately shit evolves and nothing stays the same. ya know how that goes. you know it used to be about going out maybe droppin a pill or 2 taking a few bumps maybe smoking a blunt, having a good time getting fucked up but still having CONTROL. no i see alot of out of control people that get so mangled beyond there limitations its nausiating. if you need to do that much drugs to have a good time, well Daytop is waiting for you then... p.s. its a he. Chris. ------------------ I take my problems to the dancefloor...
  13. bro what kind of beaten would this kid get if he ever mouthed off to me like this in public??.... ------------------ I take my problems to the dancefloor...
  14. yo smokee how can you take anyone seriously named newsense. thats exactly wehaty you are bro a little fuckin gnat... be gone mosquito before you get the raid on your asss... ------------------ I take my problems to the dancefloor...
  15. bro in all actuallity you aint shit, you'll never be shit, and thats the cold hard facts. thats right you see my pic go look at it again, be amazed at how if your standing next to me with your girlfriend how easy it would be for me to take her. be amazed bro. babling? you start bullshit with someone you don't even know, see where i grew up thats how you get yourself hurt. as for my corny friends, bro just put it this way enough of this bullshit, you obviously want to be like me, so get off my dick already. stop dick riding your a pansy that probably couldn't fuck a girl if she was naked in front of you with an instruction manual. I love to abuse little herbs like you it passes the time. you know nothing, about clubbing you know nothing about underground music, how old are you anyway?? you probalby like a little 20 year old punk who feels he need to get a rise out someone just because. whats wrong jealous at the photogallery pic and posts on how many woman admire me, go back and read it, and thats not being coinceded thats factual pal. read it again if you like i will print it out and mail my pic to your mom so she can get off lord knows dad must not being doing his job there must be lots of sexual frustration in your family if you turned out like this.... P.s. like i said before anytime your done playing cyberslut, bring your ass to sf and we will discuss this like gentlemen do, though i must warn you i may not be so gentle.... Big Chris.... ------------------ I take my problems to the dancefloor...
  16. agreed to a degree and very well stated, but just because a person has moved to the next stage of there life in no way gives them the right to criticize what they once were. thats hypocritical and in the real world lets look at what really goes on, fact of the matter is i would rather go to factory and drop a pill then go to OHM or NV and dorp 100 dollars in drinks to be packed in like sardines, and hear the guy next to me try to inpress some woman by telling her what great career he's had and how much a stock is earning per year. thats all great but come the weekend i do not want to speak let alone think about work. this coming from someone in the working class, funny thing is most people in these clubs are from the working class. not looking for drama just stating my opinion. P.s. you see newsense when you speak like a gentlemen you get treated like one. ------------------ I take my problems to the dancefloor...
  17. you know what i was gonna reply with a long statement but your really not worth the time nor the effort. you see it one way i see it another. Fair is fair. and about the ignorance comment, well you were the one saying how carl cox is THE KING OF HARD HOUSE. bro get a grip... ------------------ I take my problems to the dancefloor...
  18. wtf is the deal with europe anyway, whats with all these kids obsessing over europe music and there djs. Granted alot of the music is good but, just not my cup of tea. who can listen to trance for hours anyhow? maybe in a car ride for a long time but in a club no thanks. New York is known for there dark hard house, why take that away from us. I am tired of this topic. next topic.... ------------------ I take my problems to the dancefloor...
  19. a-fuckin-men! ------------------ I take my problems to the dancefloor...
