all house or rave dancing done today in clubs, (even the people on the stages) is all freestyle dancing, find your own groove, at first learn to just keep rythym with your body after start to incorperate your own personal style into it, be it a little head motion or and extra hop step, just crank the music and dance in your house, (in front of a mirror at first, this will show you what you look like and if your keeping correct timing) just dance practice makes perfect... ------------------ I take my problems to the dancefloor...

I have to say that dancing to ME is important, its definitley an expressive outlet. But i am not everyone and some people do go out to have a good time and can't hold a rythem but those of us who can, should def not judge those that can not. We (who can dance) have been given a talent, some are more talented than others. Cherish it... But to answer your question, i find dancing skills to be a must... I have seen the hottest girls who can't dance and they do nothing for me.
