  1. You approach one of the doors and ask the guy: Is there a liar at the door leading to death? If the answer is yes, then the door you approached leads to creamfields and drugs. If the answer is no, then the door you approached leads to death. B2B - pretty good one ------------------ Beauty projection into reflection is always the worst way to start.
  2. Black Hole. ------------------ Beauty projection into reflection is always the worst way to start.
  3. I'd say it's more tech-house. But very hard. ------------------ Beauty projection into reflection is always the worst way to start.
  4. OK people, I'll give you another one. Very trivial. How much is: two plus two divided by two? Anyone cares to answer? ------------------ Beauty projection into reflection is always the worst way to start.
  5. Agree. Music beats everything. ------------------ Beauty projection into reflection is always the worst way to start.

  8. to make it 5 + 545 = 550 and 545 + 5 = 550 ------------------ Beauty projection into reflection is always the worst way to start.
  9. Tiesto is awesome. My opinion is he's one of the best trance artists at the moment. My personal favorite DJ (followed by with Ferry Corsten). He somehow manages to play deep, melodic trance which is so solid and soooooo far from being cheesy (check out any of his Magik mixes, 1-6, the latest one came out yesterday). Sometimes with a techno streak (as in Space Age mixes). Almost every one of his sets amazes me. He's dutch, and is both a producer and DJ, has his own record label as well (www.dj-tiesto.com). As a producer he's known for being half of Gouryella, half of Kamaya Painters, half of Vimana, thrid of Major League, the producer for Allure, and of course tracks by DJ Tiesto (Subspace Interference, Theme from Norefjell, etc.) And as a DJ... his Live at Energy 2000 set is the best high-energy trance mix I have heard. ------------------ Beauty projection into reflection is always the worst way to start.
  10. Prodigy - Out of Space ------------------ Beauty projection into reflection is always the worst way to start.
  11. Just wondering what kind of music do you guys listen to outside the "club - house/trance/techno" genre. I'm a big fan of doom/black metal, speed metal, industrial, classical. ------------------ Beauty projection into reflection is always the worst way to start.
  12. I saw Sven Vath in spring at Twilo and was a bit disappointed cause I didn't hear what I excpected to. I've been following him for quite a long time (all the way back from early nineties), he's one of the first guys to start playing trance. But his style lately has changed, and at Twilo played mostly hard tech-house, which I don't like that much. I was hoping to hear his older, more melodic trance tracks (like L'Esperanza or Your Touch just to name a few), which didn't happen. I'd say I like him as a producer better than as a DJ. ------------------ Beauty projection into reflection is always the worst way to start.
  13. Tiesto live at Energy 2000 ------------------ Our understanding of life is based on the perception of reality, and not the reality itself.
  14. now that's a nice photo! extreme sports, way cool! the most scary and fun thing i ever did ------------------ Our understanding of life is based on the perception of reality, and not the reality itself.
  15. Vodka - Absolut Citron, straight no ice. GOOD cognac, preferably 10 years old or more. ------------------ Our understanding of life is based on the perception of reality, and not the reality itself.
  16. vejita - may be you can help me point out locations for good trance. The type of the spot is of very little importance to me, underground scene, mainstream club, whatever. I mostly care about the music. ------------------ Our understanding of life is based on the perception of reality, and not the reality itself.
  17. Well, this is all I got in electronic format at the moment, so don't laugh!!! I'm on the bottom. ------------------ Our understanding of life is based on the perception of reality, and not the reality itself.
  18. BT - Brian Transeau, pretty good trance producer. SF - Sound Factory, PVD - Paul Van Dyk!!! one of my favorite dj/producers ------------------ Our understanding of life is based on the perception of reality, and not the reality itself.
  19. very nice. ------------------ Our understanding of life is based on the perception of reality, and not the reality itself.
  20. agree with p00h. A good friend of mine is 6'1, 210 lbs, looks like Dolph Lundgren (both body and face), and usually rips the dance floor apart (not as good as me though ------------------ Our understanding of life is based on the perception of reality, and not the reality itself.
  21. hehehe... this topic is just so funny. my two cents - i was surpised to see that most of the juiceheads who look busy STANDING on the dancefloor also get easily intimidated... aggressively rip a couple of moves right in front of them - and they leave, and free up the space!!! ------------------ Our understanding of life is based on the perception of reality, and not the reality itself.
  22. It's all a question of taste. Bmlewis is right describing to what he played - hard tech-house with no melody whatsoever. I was hoping to hear good trance. I stayed there till close to 6, and that's all he played. If you like that, definitely check him out. But I personally don't think that killer music must have no melody. Just my preference. Sven Vath has produced a lot of trance tracks which are melodic, and that's what I was expecting to hear from him. ------------------ Our understanding of life is based on the perception of reality, and not the reality itself.
  23. Tiesto at Webster Hall? When did that happen? I've been following both Tiesto's schedule and Webster Hall events, never heard about it. ------------------ Our understanding of life is based on the perception of reality, and not the reality itself.
  24. Mostly techie house. I was hoping to hear good trance (and I know he can do it), but alas... ------------------ Our understanding of life is based on the perception of reality, and not the reality itself.
  25. Well, my standpoint is a bit different from most people on this thread. I'm not a raver, and I'm not a clubber either. Don't want to offend anyone here, but I have little respect for a meathead who only goes to trendy clubs to show off his muscles, or for a raver who will diss a dj just because his music got so popular that it's not considered underground anymore. I've seen many of both kinds. I'm in love with music. And I love to dance. Where and in what environment is not really important. Peace. ------------------ Our understanding of life is based on the perception of reality, and not the reality itself.
