I didn't know what to expect of this party but when I walked into the main room last night I was like oh my fu@#ing GOD! The space once you walk in is absolutely incredible. It reminded me of "Limelight" with a huge stage with steps to dance on [which I didnt leave for 2 hrs] to the left, SF with its strange but slammin dancers, Exit for its dancing space, and its sound and lighting had an identity of its own. THE MUSIC WAS OFF THE HOOK! Ricky Corbo ripped it up with everything he had and I was lovin it. He played banging hard house all night, and cheese free. I really couldnt believe how well set up the place was. The soundsystem was real crisp and bassy, and very well balanced. My fav was def. the lighting. It was very different than any other club. Can't really explain it, but the flashes were synchronized somehow and it blew my mind. The one thing about the place is its crowd. Don't get me wrong, it was very chill and no one was giving the typical "hard stare" or "stop lookin at my girl or I'm gunna bust your face in" type looks you get at every other club, which in my opinion is irreplacable, but otherwise was very diverse in age and nationality. However I did see plenty of slamming lookin girls and gqed out guys bouncin around, which may be a good thing for the future. Can't believe I ran into sexybabyD in the middle of the dancefloor. What up hun? I wanted to stay and dance girl, but the stage was callin my name. Def next time!! About your list, I came way too late and lists were closed...sorry! All and all, and great time. I would def. go back there next SAT!

I have to break my review into Music and Crowd Music: DJ Lodi opened and layed the vibe out nicely. Played mostly vocals and nothing too hard that would have taken away from the main DJ. Very chill. Then came Ojeda who was real good too. I liked the 2am intro song, and the 1st song he played during the stage performance. Mixed in some vocals and hard stuff here and there, and the crowd was basically with him the whole time. Shawn Ink was good too, but I think he went all over the place too much and the shitty sound system up there only took away from his set. Crowd: In my opinion terrible. Talk about everyone looking, dressing and acting exactly the same. It was gross. I was feelin negative vibes everywhere. No one was friendly, and everyone seemed to be on their "high pedestal" [guys and girls] And second, the amount of blatant drug use was disgusting. I've never EVER seen so much in open air as last night. One time I was sittin having a conversation up on the 4th floor when three loudass obnoxious jerkoffs sit next to me and are screaming, yo yo yo we're K'in it up. And everywhere else I looked, more K. Go figure. Overall, music was good, but shitty crowd was pullin at my leg the whole night. Will only go back to hear Vicious.

Twirl has so much potential its not even funny, but for some reason the crowd that shows up is allergic to dancing. Charrails: Actually, most of the bigger djs get their music for free through promos and dont go through the process of searching for the 10 greatest songs out there. If its not planted in their mailbox, they probably wont be playing it. Thats why, like someone said before, most of the best music is being played in the smaller rooms, since those are the guys trying the hardest to get noticed.
