  1. go to any smoke/head shop in the village. They usually sell novelty ID's that look very close, but not precise, since that would be illegal....=)
  2. Believe it or not, but Zombie Nation is just recently starting to catch on in England. Its about time a song is played out here before it reaches Europe. <--------------- cracks knuckles and stretches
  3. <-----I have the same problem. My friend's mother keeps hitting on me... LOL...Tempts, i gottah give you some credit. It takes balls of steel to say something like that. Best of luck to you. Stay off the juice..brah!
  4. Todt Hill Here --Be careful of that West Nile Shit. Specially if you have a pool...Does Nezzermans have open Turntable night?

Alex --It just occurred to me what song you might be thinking of. Check out "Starfighter - Apache Rmx." It sounds exactly like your explaining it. Lots of small rewinding, a bee buzzing bassline, and a subtle pizzicato melody towards the end. Its a phat song. Hope it's the right one.
  6. Be sure to get the [Yomanda Main Vocal Mix] The Regular [Yomanda Mix] is not the one they play in the clubs.
  7. are you on crack? Draper rips it up on Fridays. Please be more educated when you post. Twilo has worldwide superstars on a regular basis. [This message has been edited by pangelid (edited 07-26-2000).]
  8. atf104 --is this your way of starting a clubplanet 'personal ads' section? M/20/Brooklyn Fave thing to do at a club: Sneak into VIP and pretend I work there/ accept bribes
  9. Im pretty sure this is a Promo track produced by Tony Draper "Children of the Night". If you heard it at Exit, that is probably it. Don't think its pressed on vinyl...yet
  10. Im 27 seeing a 14 year old boy --Keoki
  11. I actually heard that interview by chance last night. I was flipping through the channels on my ghetto stereo and heard some housey trance beats so I left it on. Sure enough I hear the PVD interview. It was kind of wack. I felt like the DJ's weren't even listening to him and then they cut him off at the end. What assholes! PVD ripped on ATB-Don't Stop which I thought was pretty funny. If anyone gets reception to this station, check it out. Its waaay better than KTU.
  12. --Manahattan Satellite Records EightBall Records Vinyl Mania --Brooklyn Beat Street Upstairs Records FYI--Satellite is FINALLY moving from that 40x10 ft Hellhole to a bigger space up the block. [22 listening stations]
  13. I bet you Denny LOVES all this attention. At least he knows people are ACTUALLY listening to him and not just dancing cauz they are kooked out on "extra-curriculars".
  14. Hey Mikey --You sound just like every other Staten Island guido/retard i know...why don't you get your head out of your ass and stop praying that CYLO, or Quest or 19th hole or whatever piece of shit Staten Island nite spot will catch on. Do me a favor and write a post that people care about instead of adding insult to injury. Respect people's opinions. [This message has been edited by pangelid (edited 07-20-2000).]
  15. Are we all kidding ourselves? As I read posts from yesterday to today, I would think we have two separate BBS' re: this issue. Please don't change your opinions just because we know Tsettos is reading. Anywho, Denny..one gripe. Milas ellinika? Yiati then les se kanenan oti esai ellinas? Tha eixame to proto super ellino-DJ. Preppie na pezeis stin ellada..Exo CLub sti Rhodo an thelis. He-He ..take care
  16. Why didnt Plasmic Honey ever release their remix of Above the Clouds. It was by far the best remix of that song around.
  17. Why can't Cylo stay open for more than 4 months at a time. Its a nice place. Staten Island used to be one of the biggest club havens off Manhattan and now it's all junk teen nites. All those SI dj's like Santana, Takeover and Kaos should do something about it.
  18. People --I had to post this because this rival DJ thread is sending bad vibes. Some of us are getting too fired up whether our NJ Dj's are better than our NY dj's. This is not a debate over which state is better. Each area caters to its own crowd and the shore is way different than manhattan which is different than upstate. Obviously if some European DJ ie Kai Tracid tried to spin at Temptations in NJ, people would pack up their gear and go home. Then there would be 100 post about how he is terrible. Its all a matter of opinion. If you are going to rate a DJ, rate him or her on mixing skills, record depth and variety, stamina, and energy, Not whether he blew shit up at Club Abyss one time.
  19. Jersey Kid --Listen to his CD. Its a piece of commercial junk.
  20. Im gunna make a statement about J. Peter's that i'm sure will fire a few of you up. I've never heard him spin live so I might be mistaken. However, I do follow his music via vinyl and .ra, and for the most part I am not impressed. I actually would say that every mix I heard of his is pretty bad. Vocals Vocals Vocals = Terrible If I wanted 5 hours of vocals, I would listen to KTU Level 3 all night. Johhny Vicious is way better. His style is harder and will be sure to take your head off. Vasquez is in another league of crap and we might as well throw Baez in the crap league too. These statements are all based on the artists' respective labels and the music they put out, so please prove me wrong. 4 minus 3 [This message has been edited by pangelid (edited 07-15-2000).]
  21. The clubscene is all about who you know. The more talented lesser known DJ's [the one's who do it for the music and aren't clouted by money] can't break into the scene. A good reason why well promoted parties/raves [vibe oriented] are better than most clubs [materialistic] [This message has been edited by pangelid (edited 07-15-2000).]
