yea, toy store banners doesnt sound like the right place. more like velvet rope, no awning, to the right of lions den.

I am pretty sure that each sonic foundry products all share one mp3 plugin. just look for the mp3 plugin demo, install it, and then register it from a keygen that you find on a crack search engine.

yea, push cue/play first, then find the spot, then play again. The spot where you pressed play will be the new cue.

    gqsmuv58@aol.com

mirc is a good way to get music if you have the patience. You will want to join an efnet or dalnet server (efnet IMO is better) , and then look for channels that have DCC bots. A DCC bot is like a server that you can request music off of.

If you sit in a channel with DCC bots in it, then usually a script is run that will list all the songs on each DCC bot. It will also give you directions on how to request the files and such.

Don't bother with the @find or @search rooms. They mostly suck unless your looking for porn :)

ahh the Wave. Good times. I went to that 2U party with Chris Liberator, Thee-o, The Dever and a shitload of other headlining djs for like $10. I think that was one of the Wave's last hoorah's.

Those of you from Staten Island probably feel the same way as me, unless of course you're one of those same assholes I see driving up and down Hylan Blvd, trying to look like somebody special.

I dont understand why people always say brooklyn is better. It is the same crowd. Bay Ridge, Dyker, Staten Island, and North/Central Jersey are all the same. I've had just as consistent shitty nights in BK than all those mentioned.

If you are describing the heights, williamsburg, or greenpoint, then yeah, much different, but not necessarily better. I personally dont like either, but am open minded and will hang out with different people b/c everyone has something different to offer.

From my experience, people that bash do so, b/c they don't fit in Hey, I suck at handball, so I say it sucks. Same goes with the guido crowd. If your not a guido, you probably hate it. If you are, you only hang out with other guidos. Same logic applys to every subculture.

    Common psychology.

I never go out on SI anymore, summers I just head out to either of the shore's, winter I usually just go out in jersey or the city, funny thing is though you go to different area's and who do you meet: more SI people....

FYI: I may be opening a spot on Bay Street nr the ferry. be on the lookout. probably do 250 ppl. very high ceilings.

Plus the last few times I was there they let you smoke in the bar too. SI sucks!

u talking about 18th hole on VanDuzer? or whatever its new name is?

Everything else in the city 18+ sucks.

I passed by this joint one night on my way to somewhere. The people smoking outside were dressed up and looked pretty cool. Could be a decent suggestion.

he will be joined by international DJ/Producer PQM (Prince Quick Mix)

Quick having moved to Melbourne Australia almost a year ago is back in town for a few days and has agreed to come in a spin with James for a little while this Friday. Its gonna be one hell of a night!!!!

heres a quick bio on the Prince of the Quick Mix!

PQM – a New York based DJ whose production’s you have probably heard at your favorite club no matter which part of the world you’re at. With his prior releases and recent classics like ‘You Are Sleeping’, ‘Welcome to the Machine’, ‘Fuck Sonnet’ and ‘Insane Poem’, it is no surprise that PQM’s name is becoming synonymous with all things Deep, Smooth & Funky.

For a record to attain anthem status with DJs around the world is no small feat, but PQM accomplished just that with his 1996 independent house music interpretation of the Led Zeppelin classic ‘Babe I'm Gonna Leave You’. This New York native has been influencing the world's underground house & Hip Hop scene since the early 90's, quietly creating a solid reputation as one of the first producers to blend Hip Hop, modern rock, house and now Drum & Bass music, creating his own ‘Amped Up’ sound. PQM has also made his mark on the underground Hip Hop community. Operating under the pseudonym ‘Nubian Crackers’ with partner Undercover Brother, The Nubian Crackers created many underground hip hop classics as well as the infamous ‘Cracker Beats Vol. 1-9’. Nubian Cracker beats can be identified in the mix on Funkmaster Flex's radio show (Hot 97) and continuous mix compilations as well as the underlying rhythm track in hip hop recordings such as ‘Ready To Die’ by the Notorious B.I.G. PQM is a firm believer in showcasing vocals in his remixes, which led him to be chosen by Paul Oakenfold to remix the now classic Robert Owens club cut ‘I'll Be Your Friend’. It was his version on Perfecto UK which was added in rotation on Radio One, Kiss FM, and Choice FM in England, as well as reaching Top 30 on the UK sales chart, Top 5 on the Record Mirror club chart, and Top 10 on the MixMag buzz chart. His unique talent of combining classic, modern rock and other vocal styles with underground house, Hip Hop and Drum 'n' Bass shines through his remixes for Celine Dion (‘My Heart Will Go On’), Orgy (‘Stitches" & "Blue Monday’), Sara McLachlan (‘Adia’), Gloria Estefan (‘Heavens What I Feel’) and Jimmy Page & Robert Plant (‘Rude World’) His associations and credentials stretch far and wide- from licensing his tracks to labels like Renaissance and Ministry of Sound Compilations, and also having completed his Asian and Australian Tour across major cities like Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Beijing, Sydney and of course, Melbourne, a place which PQM has declared his new-found loyalty to

As always Abaya is free and there weill be drink specials too!!!!!

Abaya is located at 244 E. Houston St between ave A and ave B

yo what are the themes there Thurs/Fri/Sat? I tried goin the other Thrusday, and got bounced b/c there was a private party. I was pissed.

  15. Go to Level 1 in Anadale. Its a local SI crowd. House and Hip Hop. Friday it shouldnt be too crowded. Also, Coaches on Richmond Road is good. Depending on the night, its either a band or dj. Screaming Broccoli was there and was pretty good.

Some other places..Iguana, Haunted2, Danny Boys, Beer Garden.

    Help me out:)
