  1. Got a good crew going....It is going to be a good time...and good music.
  2. Holmes.....you never miss an opportunity...
  3. Stay tuned then.....The reason there hasn't been any attention put to the NJGUIDO music section is because it is being completely reworked to handle all aspects of this music scene
  4. CP METROMIX and NJGUIDO.....I think we have a job to do then. We can make a difference....I know my site has some big plans...Metromix does a great job with the music....Maybe the internet "scene" sites need to get more involved in supporting these labels and artists. NJGUIDO has plans
  5. Yes Kirk doesn't play hip hop often...And it does bother me as well...But "Realize" we are house music peeps....I can't stand hip hop actually. But I understand "realize" why it is played.
  6. And when the house comes back on......They love it that much better.....
  7. Correct....And kirk is pleasing his crowd playing the 2 or 3 hip hop tracks in between.....Realize...It is his style...>Get your ass on the dance floor style.
  8. I agree that you should always play your style and not change with the rest of the world.....But that is if you are looking to make a name for yourself playing a particular style of music. Kirk is a great DJ that has made a name for himself in a particular style as well....That is...Get your ass on the dance floor style....He isn't out trying to impress the music critics, he is out making the other 99 percent of the people have fun. If Kirk wanted to stick to a particular style, he would put plenty of other DJ's on the unemployment line. His skills surpass most DJ's period. He is a DJ without an ego and I think most DJs should want to get to that level. I wish I was at that level. When Kirk plays everyone has fun. My goal is to make it playing my style of music and not switching to anything else...I play progressive, groove house and tribal. I want to stick to that and become respected playing just that. Kirk is at another level.....He plays for everyone and doesn't need respect from critics...The non ignorant critics know that Kirk is simply a great DJ.
  9. Yeah that was funny....I admit I had to laugh at that
  10. Wakeup/ChristianJay I think we cleared up alot in the end of our last little argument. Kirk is right about DJing...It's also about business and employment. As far as me being a joke...Thats fine...I'm happy with life and thats all that matters. If you are referring to my DJing make a fair judgement on hearing me on one of MY nights....Not just opening spots. I play different when it is my vibe and not an opening vibe. Anyways, you may always think I'm a joke but as long as I'm employed your opinion is going to seem useless. Take the Moo challenge and come and hear me and make a fair opinion. LOL
  11. Same here, and come hear me and introduce yourself. I like to respect people's opinions rather than argue about them being real or not.
  12. What did you think of the track selection? You have not mentioned that
  13. I actually am aware of the Amuka thing you are talking about....I was pissed too.. Damn CD's I had the Gain all the way up on the cd but the vinyl I was playing behind it had the gain up too....Vinyl is usually louder and there was no room left to get the Acc up. It's funny you mention that...It was the only thing that I noticed being off that might too. And it was a volume issue not a placement issue. That is a credible complaint
  14. No I do....I don't control the highs and lows though...Unfortunately
  15. LETS put this whole conversation to sleep right now.... Come to Joey's August 7 (Preferably Joey's)or even Sandbar August 6 Introduce yourself to me...It is much easier to say someone sucks if they don't know your face. Then form your opinion, now you are not making a faceless opinion because you are basically saying it to my face since I know your face.
  16. I wasn't even in the DJ booth when the roc project performed....and I do not control the sound system or how it sounds....
  17. You get these tracks...Where do you play? I honestly would like to know...not to be a jerk or anything but just out of curiosity...I may want to hear you play....Than maybe I would accept your opinion
  18. Thanks....I enjoy playing in NJ NJ DOES ROCK And I'm happy But criticize me after you hear me....Is that not fair?
  19. Well I suggest you buy some of them....maybe not Kansas - Coming home....You can probably get that on the computer I'll be sure to ask Dennis who you are
  20. I do play 90 percent Vinyl Simply because I work in the city and have more time to go to the record store rather than sit in traffic and get home late and try to find crap on the computer.
  21. Oh you are too funny.....I don't update the music section on the site...I'm too busy. Your buddy heard me at Joeys.....He should know I played mostly imported Vinyl from decadance. Here are some. Once in a lifetime - flipside - whitelabel The Sinners - Sin (One Feeling Mix) Odd- Look at me (Paul Rogers Late Night Dub Mix) Mat's Tribal EP vol 1 - Ain't No Body Kansas - Coming Home - Fataltracks remix Kruger and Coyle - The Witness Vance Musgrove - Elemental.... You probably don't even know these tracks....Reason being....You are an internet music critic not a real DJ who shops at Record stores and BUYS Vinyls So go look up everyone else's top ten and call it your own Thats what I play...Thats what I like And here is a tip If you don't have or know the track The Sinners - Sin Go to decadance and ask Dennis for it.....It is HOT
  22. Oh yeah....It was also one of the most packed nights at Joeys and no one left....
  23. Any other complaints....Or did you just not like that? Because I don't mix just for you...You know that right?
  24. Look they actually take the time to make funny Moo pics....LOSERLOSERLOSER Oh my goodness....WHAT A LOSER LOLOLOLOLOLOL
