I agree with you....I liked his content from back in the day (a la Slim Shady EP & LP even MMLP) much much better...He had that "I just dont give a fuck attitude" and didnt give a fuck about anyone as he was fiendin to get on top... Now it seems like he's just goin through the motions. I don't think he fell off persay, but I do think he's bored. Maybe he just doesnt know what to rap about anymore? He can't rhyme about living in trailer parks and struggling to live day to day, cuz he isnt anymore. He cant rhyme about killing his mom, and cutting Kims head off anymore because he's run that into the ground. He's stepped his production up 150% (aka Bank's "Fire") which is a plus, and still is pretty ill lyrically (think the Westwood Freestyle, Monkey See). IMO, I think Eminem is a much better solo artist, when he doesnt have anyone else on the track..But I agree that his content needs some work, and I do miss the Slim Shady days.... It was actually pretty interesting to see him evolve as an artist thoughout the years. He came up, he made his money and his mark as one of the most respected rappers in the game...Like you said, he's just not that hungry anymore. Maybe thats just cuz he doesnt need to be. He has a production company, a clothing line, a few Grammy's, an Oscar, etc. etc. etc. I'm gonna hold off sayin he fell off until I hear his next album. If that album sucks, then I'll agree that he has definitely fallen off.

IMO...he had to come a lil more commercial on this album than on his last in order to break into the mainstream/mtv world. He's always been gangsta, but I guess he feels its time to move some units (like Eminem, 50, Jay-Z). I think that this album is a lil bit of both.

Warrior Part 2... Eminem, Lloyd Banks, 50 Cent, and Nate Dogg on the hook... It's pretty good, but not as good as it could've been IMO
