  1. I have not run any of the team ProMotion days there at Pocono as yet... Not quite a squid, but still slow enough to stay in the amateur ranks on the track. I am looking forward to getting a few days in on the track this summer. j. ------------------ JDogg AIM: JDoggNY2000

  3. And there is a new track opening this summer near Harrisburg, PA. Rausch Creek - it is a nice wide open motorcycle track with good run-offs and a great layout. IM/PM me if you want info on a private track day in July. j. ------------------ JDogg AIM: JDoggNY2000
  4. ALL THE TIME!!! I have been driving sticks on and off over the last 11 years. First vehicles I ever drove were sticks with manual steering. You learn how to park with them and you are good. I have to get rid of my stick (sports car) here next month. Looks like another auto coming next. j. ------------------ JDogg AIM: JDoggNY2000
  5. Go Devils! Leafs? Who are they? IHL or something? ------------------ JDogg AIM: JDoggNY2000
  6. Joe - I think that we can cruise t-topps down.... ------------------ JDogg AIM: JDoggNY2000
  7. I can say that I have quite a few friends that will drop most anything that they have going on to help me out as well as me dropping what I have to help them. One I have known for the last 16 years. She is now down in Florida and it is a great friend. Some of them are people that I have met here on the board. I love all of you and respect you all. And there is one special girl that I love that I have known for the last 3 years. Jordan, your daddy loves you! You are my BEST friend. ------------------ JDogg AIM: JDoggNY2000
  8. Bastardino - Damn boy, I love you. Just as I thought that we were drama free for while, back comes this thread for us to grab onto. j. ------------------ JDogg AIM: JDoggNY2000
  9. Even though the picture here is of a Ducati in race form, I don't have one of them. It was a toss up between the $11,000 for a Ducati or $8,000 for the Triumph. I went for the Triumph and bought extras for it with the difference in the money. I have a '00 Triumph: ------------------ JDogg AIM: JDoggNY2000
  10. From one to another - Congrats on getting the divorce! Always a good thing to get that behind you. j. ------------------ JDogg AIM: JDoggNY2000
  11. Hey Hugh... I've been riding too. I got out yesterday and today for about 250 miles. Got to go to work today on the bike. Makes for much fun. Parsippany to Lodi cruise at 100mph in mid afternoon. Wide open lanes and beautiful weather. Sorry to hear that you are searching right now. I wish that it was much better than that for you. j. and j-pup ------------------ JDogg AIM: JDoggNY2000
  12. I guess that I will have to tune in and hear what's going on... j. ------------------ JDogg AIM: JDoggNY2000

  14. This should be an interesting night there for you Mikey. I hope it all works out for you. ------------------ JDogg AIM: JDoggNY2000
  15. You have to remember that you posted at 11pm on a Saturday night and 3am the second time. Not the best time to be posting to get responses. Also you will find that most of the posting goes during the week when people are at work. The last couple hours of your work day 2-5pm you will see that the posting picks up, as we just start our day. Ask Boa about how the time difference messed up his posting....from Sydney. j. ------------------ JDogg AIM: JDoggNY2000
  16. I was there in the booth for about the last 45 minutes of the night, to PVDs right. Yep. Nice place to watch the end of his anniversary gig. ------------------ JDogg AIM: JDoggNY2000
  17. PVD came on at 2:45 and finished up at 10am. Absolutely awesome night there. PVD showed us what he is truly capable of. He repeated a couple of tracks toward the end, but you could see him digging through the vinyl to come up with something to play and mix into. He closed with a remix of For An Angel, and when it was done, tossed it into the crowd. Someone got a nice souvenir. PVD tore the roof off last night and DT/Diggweed will knock down the walls tonight. Off to go nap. Hope you guys have fun tonight. The family obligations and j-pup call tomorrow. j. ------------------ JDogg AIM: JDoggNY2000
  18. There are some incredible cars there this year. I had the pleasure of working at the show on Thursday. I got over 100 pictures on the digital camera of the different cars there. Best bet is to go midafternoon/midweeks. Otherwise it is alot os asses and elbows as you go around the different cars. I have one more pass to get back in and I may do that on Monday night. ------------------ JDogg AIM: JDoggNY2000

    earplugs

Having been working in an industrial environment for 8 of the last 10 years, riding bikes and going out, earplugs are an indispensable part of my day. I wear Howard Leight -30db foam plugs that I borrowed from work. At the SPL (volume) that we have at Twilo, the bones of your skull will transmit all the sound you need. The earplugs are designed to attenuate the high frequency sounds that do the significant damage. Industrial supply catalog, 500pr = $15.00 I would rather miss some volume of the high end, enjoy the bass and have hearing when I am 30 than not have any left. j. ------------------ JDogg AIM: JDoggNY2000

  21. So I go to get my Twilo Card today at about 1:30. I go find a nice spot in front of Twilo. Ok, so no parking between 8am and 7pm. I'll try my luck with the Traffic Cops and the orange love notes. The parking attendant in the f**king garage across the stret is waving to me to come park there. I shake my head no, I finish the cell call I am on and head on in and get my card. All of 15 minutes. I come out and someone slashed the tire on the drivers side rear of the car. This is the road side, not the curb side, and it faces the f**ker in the garage. I have no idea who would do that to the car, but it must be a damn dangerous are to park in, since I ran into a screwdriver in the top edge of my tire at mid-day. I am driving a Camaro SS - 275/40ZR17 tires. $250 to replace it, plus $20 to the Porsche place for getting my spare on - thanks to the guy there 11th/27th for helping me out, plus the labor at the dealership to get it done. I have not seen the final bill yet for it, but suffice it to say that it will have been a $300 day because of some bitter hump in the parking garage. Keep it in mind if you drive in and park there, the type of no good lousy fuck you are leaving your car with. Thanks for listening to my rant. j. 22. Done and purchased mine...If there is any difference in the wait line on one rainy night, the damn fool thing paid for itself. QUITCHERBITCHIN....get it if you go. If not sign on the list on CP or somewhere else, save your $5 and wait in line. j. Feelin pissed tonight, but that is another thread. ------------------ JDogg AIM: JDoggNY2000
  23. While I like the ducs and the sound of the v-twin, and I was ready to buy a 748s, I ended up buying a Triumph.... ------------------ JDogg AIM: JDoggNY2000
