what was the average age of the crowd on sat nite?

im not really a club person but i find myself coming back to this forum i think its because it deals with young people(even though there are also many old people here) in NY. are there any similar NY based forums like this? bar,special event,ny single forums etc?

i've moved to NY 2 years ago all by myself and have lived here in manhattan and queens. are there any other independent and couragous people who had moved to NY away from their families back home?? not that i have anything against the 'locals' i just wanna meet people like me.

im 28 but still performs like a 18 year old. man people on this forum are much older than i thought..i guess it's a good thing.

i went to the Tunnel last friday nite and it was ok .. about 60% full. i just read couple of posts about last nite saying it was so empty. will there be more people than last friday at tunnel tonight? if so im going.

i went to the tunnel last night for hte first time in a year, it was ok but it was not packed at all. i just feel more comfy when the place is packed. we left at 3am and it was getting filled. i hope the place gets packed soon. cause i really like the place.. anyway i saw a long line outside Twilo so early around 11:30. how was twilo last nite?

i can't wait to see the changes made at the tunnel.

im from a small town in the south and back in my hometown most people are either anglosaxon white or black. There's so much diversity in NYC area and there are also diversities among whites(italian,jew,greek,irish,spanish) etc. It's interesting that there are so many interesting combinations of blood among new yorkers. Whats everybody's ethinicity on thie board?

rock has(or had) been the mainstream music for youngers in this country except NY metro area. ever since i moved here i've noticed most young drivers who turn their stereo loud in their cars listen to techno music, in most other parts of country young drivers crank up their car stereo to rock or hip hop music. im gettign sick of techno/trance/whatever ucall it. i really wanna try clubs in manhattan that play rock and pop music, which clubs should i go besides culture club and webster hall which both suck.

i use a cable box in queens and i don't get scrambled spice, when i do, it only lasts one sec then the annoying blue time warner screen comes on. but i do have monthly playboy.. hehe..man i need to get married and settled..

i haven't been to the Tunnel since fall of 98 and iam planning to go back tonight. will it be worth going? do they have liquor license back? will there be enough people? if so what kinda crowd should i expect??

do they still limit the # of people getting into the hip hop room and the main bar/ lounge area at limelight? last time i was there they were not letting in most single guys.

can somebody explain why so many people drive more than an hour to party at the hamptons. the whole area looks so conservative and dump! we drove around southhampton and hampton bays and the place looked so damn boring. boy do i miss Daytona beach,FL...
