I was in vegas this past weekend...... i hit up pretty much every club out there from Wednesday to sunday and did not here one decent DJ spin. They were all garbage IMO. No mixing skills and shitty track selection. The opening DJ at RA on saturday was good. Too bad they had to ruin it by throwing some Funk Flex wanna be on stage after him. but i didn't go to light so I have no opinion on that place.

Swank is definitly gonna blow up.......His set at Float for the xmas party was off the hook....... I like Mendez as well. He never disappoints and is down to earth. Rydeil is good but I think he spins way to hard for that room. But I always have fun when I am there. Tsettos.....not my favorite but 1000 people every weekend can't be wrong. Teo T......He makes the party that much better. You can really tell he feels everything that he plays.

JP is a NY DJ........He very rarely plays outside the U.S., so not that many people know of him. The only places that I know he plays are in Boston, Hartford, Rhode Island (not that much), Vegas, South Beach, and Cancun. So Europeans really have no clue about JP. He also played in Japan but that was a few years ago.

9/11 was never really a concern of mine......NYC nightlife has been slowly declining for the past 6 years. Right now the only consistantly good parties are Vinyl Fridays and SF saturdays. I think the world has potential. if they keep on bringing in good dj's, the crowd will come.

Not for nothing but Saleen is right on this one.......you can pay face value for any game at the stadium. People are selling all the time. I would never pay those prices for a giant game. I paid face value for the palyoffs last year... Saleen.......Jets are done......even if they get a wildcard, they are bounced quicker than one of your phoney checks!!!!!!

I agree with you....Some promoter's are straight up and most aren't. I think we are all tired of reading that shit.

I think last year i paid $20 or $30.....Can't really remember cause I was mangled walking in there and even worse walking out. it was fun though.

Were we at the same club........The stage shows were awsome......Except vivacious' 11 am performance....WTF? The music was sick. He played everything from the garth dub to 6,8,12 to paula Cole to corrupt. The Follow me remix was nuts. The crowd finally had energy. The vibe was great. Everything about the night was good. just go to JP's website and check out the reviews. The people over there are his biggest critics and i haven't read one bad thing yet.

JBR, I was just making a point. I agree with Saleen, the shit with Denny and the world was nonsense as is when say, Temptskid or whoever, bash someone for saying that they didn't have fun at tempts and thought denny's music selection was terrible. Everyone has different taste in music. I think my taste changes once a month.....but it is still no need to bash the person.

.......and what about your friends who work at tempts or xs.....If a promoter gets banned then so should bartenders.....but money doesn't matter to them....RIGHT.......and thanks for proving my point with those witty little remarks. Someone likes to dish it out but can't take it.....Grow up!

Hey Saleen, i agree with getting rid of the promotions. They are annoying. Thats why there is a promoter's forum, so post it in there. But i also think that the new moderator should bounce your ass for all the racist and ignorant comments that you have said in the past six months. Also there is no difference between what these promoter's do and what you and your tempts crew does everyweek during the summer. You bash eveyone who has something negative to say about Denny. I don't like denny or his music. I think tempts is filled with mostly meatheads who like to take everything from roids to G. But that is my opinion. So have fun partying in Ft. lauderdale cause there is no way in hell that your ugly ass will be getting into any club in South Beach.

I'll be in vegas for The Adult Video Convention and Awards show in January........the parties are sick that weekend!!!!
