ive had mine a yr and havent noticed a track being off key and never heard about a software update.

i have no problem with mine 10x easier to spin with cds then vinyl. instead of using the pitch bend (if u r) try using the jog wheel but turn it very slow cause its very sensitive. if not explain more how u have a problem keepin the beats matched up.
