oh it's a hard lesson to learn, isn't it, that all the rumours were true and american beer is piss.... actually it's not true at all - just don't drink any of the mainstream tosh. microbrews are the way forward. Most of the lager is crap although Sam Adams keeps winning loads of medals (but that might not be for their lager...) I can also get stella here - you just have to find a decent liquor store. it's no good asking me really I was forced to give up drinking beer here and had to resort to Stoli as my preferred tipple. went to the Edge on Friday night for the best house music... Derrick Carter was excellent. great crowd, very good vibe, weather was warm enough to enjoy being outside on the deck...

oh god, I'm going to have to bail again - friend's birthday on Thursday..... but a suggestion if you want Asian cuisine - Thaiphoon on Connecticut and R (I think). or Dragonfly does good sushi.

bloody hell! it's alive.... what happened to you mate?? every night is a good night in Miami. shadow lounge is good on a sunday I think. definitely go to Blue as well (a bar really but v. good choons) on Espanola Way (right on Espanola from washington ave away from the pedestrianised bit). Tantra is also worth looking at on a Monday if you want to check out the beautiful people - it's a restaurant/lounge but has a DJ later on.
