  14. I'm glad to see your memory is still vaguely working after the weekend, your fluency in britspeak is coming along nicely. Pants van Dyk is a load of bluddy toss too. (IMHO) hahaha.

    Sole?

OK - sounds pretty good to me. might try it on saturday... (from the washington post) Sole, the new restaurant-nightclub at the Washington Harbour, is a welcome addition to the neighborhood on several accounts. With an upscale atmosphere reminiscent of lounges like Eleventh Hour or the Saint, Sole thrives on good house music and expensive drinks. (Actually, Sole chef Vincent Torres and promoter Massoud A. both came from Eleventh Hour.) Sole offers live DJs who shy away from the Top 40 pap you're likely to hear on M Street. And Sole's menu of tasty tapas is available until midnight, Wednesday through Sunday. Although it is billed primarily as a restaurant, Sole (like Eleventh Hour or Felix) will make its name as a nightclub. The long, curving bar, modernist furniture and a gas fireplace are the centerpieces of this space, which used to house the upscale Japanese restaurant Hisago. If you get there early – or there's no one else there yet – head back and to the left of the bar and try to grab a spot in the small lounge area. Four or five small, low tables, which can be pushed together, are arranged in front of a warm gas fireplace. So far, Sole seems to have remained undiscovered. Sure, it's new (the restaurant opened November 2000), but it might just be the wrong season. The Georgetown Waterfront loses some of its nightlife appeal when Tony and Joe's and the Riverside Grill don't serve drinks outdoors on the bank of the Potomac. Still, Sole has a fireplace, the food goes till late, and it's a great place to wind up a date in Georgetown.

    Sole?

I think it's more of a restaurant... I've been wanting to try it out for a while. if you go, let me know what it's like. [This message has been edited by dirtyslapper (edited 02-01-2001).]
  21. There are loads and loads of really really good restaurants in DC. best thing to do is have a look at the entertainment section of www.washingtonpost.com personally if money is really no object I'd really recommend Citronelle in Georgetown. other good ones there are Tahoga, Mendocino Grill; downtown: DC Coast is good, Ten Penh is supposed to be v. good too (asian fusion), Nora's in Dupont Circle is excellent, Perry's and Cashion's in Adams Morgan also good.
  22. it's about $400 with Virgin this weekend. is that cheap enough? try travelocity or expedia
  23. sweaty, lusty love? I thought you weren't going to tell anyone about us???? [This message has been edited by dirtyslapper (edited 02-01-2001).]
  24. GC is in S not L. L does not = E, which in turn does not = UK.
