I've noticed there are festivals all over the world all the time, yet there are very few in the most electric city in the world. I missed 6th Element and was totally bummed, are there any other festival/concerts going on in this area anytime soon?

I'm w/brandie. I thought at least one of you would have listed your dream date as a 6' blond w/blue eyes and a D-cup. It's nice to know some of you still prefer us 5'8", dark-eyed brunettes.

I agree with all of you and diversity is always going to be part of the scene. What fun would it be otherwise? The problem is the 14-15 y/old crackheads that make the place absolutely disgusting. I really liked the music but thought that it was one of the most revolting places I've ever seen (and I had a pretty good buzz going too). Doesn't matter though, I would go see JV anywhere. The board group gathering sounds like a good plan too. Look forward to meeting some of you...

I'm definitely new to the scene, but I'm wondering where you guys pick up all your music (on-line, stores, what?)? I'm looking for more stuff like JP (like his hard, live stuff from SF), JV, AVH, PVD, Sal Parm and of course anything else the board suggests. Virgin in times square has a pretty vast collection, mp3s from napster are ok but usually a little older and real audio's nice for a quick listen but you can't keep it on your hard drive, any other recommendations?

Deedlez is right, the guy spinning downstairs sounded pretty awesome. The vibe upstairs was very odd though, I thought maybe it was me because it was my first time there.
