Props to J. Chan but Bruce Lee was (and still is) the man. Jet Li rocks too. I've seen a couple of his other flicks - man is he fast. I took Isshinryu in college but really want to try Kung Fu. Any suggestions for studios in NYC?

I've been partying in clubs sober for a year. I still partake in other activities every now and then but it's nice to remember the night and the music. Which is what it's all about anyway, right? Drop some ripped fuel, drink tons o'water and you'll have tons of energy, not to mention a kick ass time.

Maybe I'm missing something but I couldn't find any pix on your site. Thanks for the clubbers mag link though. very nice... How do you attach a picture? It's very easy to paste one in but I'd rather attach. suggestions?

That's what I've always heard but I think some research would be necessary to find out if it's fact.

Haven't done it since college but KNOW for certain that it's not something I would want to do in a club. I also find it hard to believe that people are doing that and E at the same time - that's just crazy. As Planket said, it sends you in a zillion directions at the same time and if you have a 'bad' trip, you'll never touch it again. Don't get me wrong, it was lots of fun at the time but I would never touch that stuff again...

Not to mention it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy...

Used to put in that many hours at work and at play but two months ago I went corporate. So glad I did too, worked for complete assholes. Now I'm down to 40 hours work/20 hours play. Much better...

It's funny. I think I started out as many others do, w/other things being the main highlight of my night out (as opposed to the music) - no offense to anyone who disagrees. Anyway, about a year ago I started going out for the music and it has been nothing but awesome since. Don't get me wrong, every now and then it's nice to add a little spice to the evening but not necessary for enjoyment. This past week I had my first ClubNY meetup. I don't know how they're supposed to go and this one went ok, but I must admit I felt a little awkward. I'm very outgoing and love to meet new people but wasn't sure about the vibe w/the group. I'm also a scifi freak (geek some might even say), a softball/tennis/volleyball player (and watcher), love dancing and various other activites but especially love the music. I studied it for a very long time and lost my passion but feel as though I'm finally getting back to it in my love for house. In my experience, meeting people in clubs usually doesn't go anywhere. I applaud those who've been lucky to meet their loves but stress the word lucky. Most men and friends I've known that go are simply looking for a piece but it would be nice to meet someone in a club who's there for the music and not totally cracked out. Just my $.02. Red bulls in hand, it was definitely one of the best nights I've had in a while. Energy kicked and so did Danny & S&P. Hung out til about 6:30 - I'll definitely be back... PS - Great to meet all of you!!

Definitely agree w/you human - in every way. My friend and I gave up looking for the place, parked the car and took a cab. We were both a little suprised to find no people standing outside (and that was 1:30). Either way, it was totally awesome. I've not experienced crowd enthusiasm like that since...ever. That was definitely the one thing I was totally in awe of (besides the music). Danny was definitely off the hook after 5 - it was crazy. The openning DJs kicked ass too - plus they went on again btwn 4&5. Anyway, just my $.02 - but I'll definitely be heading back again soon. Look forward to meeting even more of you...

I couldn't even begin to tell you the %'s but in total I'm part french, english, scottish, irish and native american (cherokee) and most people think I'm italian (dark hair and eyes I guess). Go figure.
