  1. Does anybody know how much its gonna cost to get in and what time the doors open? Also what time would be good to get on line. Thanks
  2. Hell yeah mello goo is the shit. Its perfect for people who's hair doesn't really spike straight up with regular gels and other products. This stuff sets you hair in place right away but remains workable unlike the spiker which hardens up real quick. I also use the Queen Helene gel when I'm just bumming around cause the other stuff gets expensive after a while.
  3. That giant caterpillar on stage was pretty crazy looking too. Was the Wonderland mix the one from his CD? Cause the mix on the CD is pretty hot.
  4. Were you mangled that night? Cause I could kind of see how young poet could sound like going through it when you're messed up and the music is loud as hell. Check out the Paul Botz Mix on AG, that's the one off of the CD. The shorter versions on AG are just the main part of Going Through It looped over and over again for like 7 min.
  5. I just got mine today and I'd say its worth it. It seems like some people were making it sound like its not that great of a cd but he does some phat stuff with some of the tracks on it. Its nice to have a compilation of some of the most popular factory songs. Now I just want to get Back to Basics I like disc 2 so far!!
  6. I guess I actually forgot about a bunch of tracks cause I remember hearing a bunch from Tranza's list. I guess it just seemed like in between the good songs there was some boring stuff. I still had fun though.
  7. The music was really good when I got there around 6. As I was paying to get in I heard the end of GTI. Is this when he mixed it with Kemical? Cause I also heard GTI when I was leaving around 12:30. When I walked in I heard Things To Come, Awake, and Out of the Blue. But after around 8-8:30 the music just seemed to be so monotonous and there was no melodies in it or vocals and everyone just seemed to be standing still on the dance floor. It was like this until about 12 with the exception of Like A Prayer and Wonderland. The stage show during Wonderland was buggin me out so bad. Then finally around 12 he broke out Lustral which kind of made the place pick up again. Oh he also played Billie Jean with the Deborah Cox accapella. It was an okay night all in all, it seemed just like an average night at SF.
  8. I'm sure everyone's probably heard of this book but check out Disco Bloodbath by James St. James
  9. Or he could be talking about the sample of Thomas Schumacher - Play Fast N Loose
  10. I figured I'd ask you since your down at Rutgers. How has Platinum been on Friday nights? Last time I went was in the fall and there was like nobody in there. Has the place been gettin filled up lately and what's the music like? Thanks bro. P.S. If you guys chill there let me know so maybe we'll meetup or something. Peace
  11. Can anybody list some of the songs that were played at the World? I had an awesome time the music was really good. We stayed till 8 and didn't really have one boring moment on the dance floor.
  12. Yo Justin could you hook me up? e*x*i*t*n*y*c*d*j ...it's an AOL address...just get rid of the stars when you type it out...it kept replacing the first part of my address with stars. I'm really likin "Fever Rising" shit's hot!!!
  13. You're right, that BPM thing doesn't work. There is one other thing you can try. At the bottom of the screen below the waveforms of the songs you are mixing, look for red boxes with numbers in them. These boxes are connected with red lines throughout the whole mix. If you click on the box, below the song that you want to adjust, and hold down the mouse button, you can drag the box higher or lower to raise or lower the tempo of the song. Hope that helps.
  14. In the playlist window you have to right click on the song. Then select "Manually Enter BPM".

I was at a bar in Hoboken and I heard this 80's song come on and it was a song that I've heard at Exit for a while but never found out the name of it. Its a song called Gary Numan - Cars. Does anyone know what version of this song they used to play at Exit? I included a sound clip. Thanks!!!

Hey A-tip, do you remember any other songs that he played around this time. The shit he was playing around this time was just insane, the music was so energetic. I mean I like a lot of the other stuff he was playing but a lot of the other music doesn't seem as energetic.

Thanks for the ID bro! I think this was the song that was being played when he sampled "What Do You Desire?" It was around the time of the 6,8,12 Dub.

  24. I know this topic is on the New York board but I wanted to see how many Music board heads are going this weekend. We should try to plan a meetup or something. Anyone have any suggestions for a time and place?
