I was that kid you always hated... never broken a bone, never had a cavity, 20/20 vision. But, since I'm a dancer I've had a good amount of other injuries (countless pulled hamstrings, sprains, lost toenails - damn classical ballet -, major bruises after being stomped upon by 3" latin heels at ballroom competitions, etc.). I also have 2 very hyperextended knees (the left likes to pop out every now and then, too!). Aah, the life of a dancer... - Meli - ------------------

Okay, so after my weekend of music and euphoria I returned to my humble college campus, picked up a school paper and lo and behold -- found a column about how teen marijuana use is down and ecstasy use is up. Here are some particular highlights: - Use of X has doubled since 1995... - Trial use of X increased from 7 to 10% over the past year, whereas MJ usage went from 41% to 40% in the same time span. - "The survey showed that more teens were turned off than on by marijuana. 54% felt that smoking pot would make them behave foolishly, up from 51% in 1997." So, what do you make of the shift in drug choice? I think it's funny that they're turning away from pot b/c it will "make them behave foolishly", then turn to X (which I've seen people act funnier on than just about anything else).
