I totally agree... it's just not cool to base your opinion when you haven't take everything into account. You've had a bad experience or two with people from these places (I assume), but you don't give yourself a chance to have better ones with others! I SOOOOOO feel your pain! I'm a dancer too, and I compete natinally in Ballroom and Latin on the Collegiate circuit... It's SO hard to find a good partner! It's even harder when I'm at school, away from the city. VERY limited supply of potential partners due to time and location constraints. *sigh* I knew partnered dancing would present a problem. Hey y'all... if you're on of near campus, this Friday night (the 8th) before you head to Twilo, come by the Cook Campus Center... there's a big Kwanzaa celebration going on and I'll be there singing with the Salsa Band! There will be food and other performances (including the Liberated Gospel Choir which is great - I sang with them for a while).
