I def agree w/ u on this one...hip-hop culture is not about fun anymore for the most part...just listen to the lyrics and u can figure out for yourself what its all about...i used to be big on hip-hop years ago and that was all i used to spin but it has changed so much since then...it used to be all about good vibes and just plain fun but now....hmmmm well u guys all know what its about...nothing fun about it anymore...owell im glad i moved on to bigger and better things...ill leave the hip-hop for the young little thugs that live on my block...they seem to enjoy it...lol.... just my $1.50... peace....

This is a subject that ive been battleing for some time now...i personally hate playing commercial garbage..id rather not play at all...but most of the time (for the promoters) u have 2...i find that working in an slow transition usually works...some of the best respones i got was when i worked something different in....like people said in earlier posts its all about feeling out the crowd...ud be suprised how some commercial fans get down to the underground tracks...i sometimes try just going different all toghther but again its all up to the crowd...if all they hear is ktu thats all they wanna hear believe me i have had people rip my head off for playing underground sets! IMO its all about where u spin and what kind of crowd comes in...too bad nyc is soo segregated and uneducated when it comes to music...good luck to all i hope we all get to where we wanna be one day.... peace......

u can go ethier way thats the whole point...develop a style.....if u go out and hear the "pros" mixing u will hear that they mix up there mixes...its usually never the same..... peace..

if u can get a birth certificate from someone who is 21 plus and a ss card go down to the dmv is nj and theyll give u an official state id no questions asked...theyll just take ure pic and there u go...it works i know many people who have done it but huirry i heard they r gonna change the system.... peace...
