  1. Diesel Boy was in town last night did you go see him? For a tiny guy he beats the hell out of decks.
  2. She'll be spinning a Prog. House set w/ some classics (real classics) thrown in. If you check out this weeks issue of Billboard, they gave the A|X Incredible Reviews, especially Rap who proved herself to be more than worthy of the househead moniker. I'll ave some CDs on me for the CPers so let's figure out a meet up area........
  3. Sander is fun but I need some dark tribal this weekend
  4. ;D I love working for this guy. Glad you had fun last time ;D
  5. Hey Mike, Yea it's also my birthday the day before so believe that I shall have a nice section that evening filled with my nearest and dearest and their favorite libations.
  6. Yup........10-11 lil Martini Open Bar going on. Armani Exchange CHEMISTRY Release Party w/ the 2 DJ's that turn this compilation the F**K out. ARMANI EXCHANGE LAUNCHES A|X MUSIC VOLUME 4 Chemistry – The Fourth Installment in the A|X Music Compilation Series Supported with Events in Major Markets New York, NY (October, 2004) – Armani Exchange, the fashion voice of urban youth, will release the fourth installment in A|X music - “CHEMISTRY” CD. Chemistry captures the energy and heat of two of the today's hottest DJs to create this double CD set compilation. Compiled and mixed by PALASH & DJ RAP, two of the hottest young internationally renowned DJ/Producers in the world this CD includes: Armand Van Helden “Hear My Name”, Junior Jack “Stupidisco”, Donna Summer “I Feel Love”, Soul II Soul featuring Caron Wheeler “Keep on Movin”. Known for their distinctive styles, these jet setting turntable titans have set dance floors a blaze, from New York to Ibiza. Palash spins the sultry progressive tribal beats while DJ Rap goes oldskool with house classics. PALASH has been an integral part of the underground house movement for over a decade. His style in the DJ booth and production studio has evolved from the accumulated wisdom of watching and manipulating the effects of sound on crowds around the world. He wields an ever-evolving modern primitive blend of the dark drums of tribal, tech-house punctuated by evocative vocals and melodic tracers. Palash has catapulted to the forefront of the genre with his remixes of Kylie Minogue, iiO, Frankie Goes to Hollywood and Steve Lawler. His tribal touch has made him one of the most sought after remixers today. DJ RAP has for the last eight years been the undisputed queen of drum'n'bass. Label owner, producer, recording artist and world-renowned DJ. The East Londoner stands alongside the likes of DJs Hype, Grooverider and LTJ Bukem as one of the few, and only female, pioneers of drum and bass. 'Learning Curve', her self-penned and produced debut for Sony, was released to widespread critical acclaim in 1998, fusing pop sensibilities with an underground production ethic. This year she celebrates the first ten years of her career, by going back to the beginning and feeling out her house music roots. In conjunction with the launch of this CD, Armani Exchange will host a series of events in major markets (New York, Los Angeles, Denver, San Diego, Miami and Boston). Palash and DJ Rap will hit the decks to spin their incredible tribal & progressive sounds mixed with drum ‘n’ bass and house beats for a crowd of local fashionistas, celebrities and tastemakers from the music and fashion industries. Armani Exchange is an incubator for Giorgio Armani’s new ideas and the street barometer of his fashion directions. A|X directs Mr. Armani’s pure sense of design to an innovative collection for the young, urban chic. Armani Exchange – “CHEMISTRY”…the ultimate blend of seductive progressive house tracks. Available exclusively at Armani Exchange stores, ArmaniExchange.com and Virgin Megastores. www.armaniexchange.com

  16. Roger Sanchez opted to become a resident at Crobar instead. Smart move.
  17. I don't see any competition we have the most varity of quality international live acts and djs with the official support of the WMC and so many other organizations. Again all the smoke n mirrors is fine.....ULTRA FEST however is a Reality.
  18. Yea ULTRA FEST isn't world famous nahhhhhhh promoted and Broadcast on Radio 1, XM Satellite Radio, Pay Per View, ID&T, oh and a new DVD is out next week. Perfecto even named a compilation after Ultra. WMC has chosen Ultra 2 years in a row as it's official partner. Last year kicking off WMC and this year closing it out. For 7 years Ultra has increased its numbers and made the Music industry recognize Electronic Music and Dance to be a genre to be reckoned with. To the point that Ultra 5 was ranked in Billboard Magazine as the number 3 grossing concert in the country only behind Elton John/Bill Joel and NSYNC. 45,000 in attendance last year and that is with WMC being the earliest it's even been. Our team is made up of promoters and producers from all over the country and headed by the too most kind people you could ever want to work for. So that to me is pretty great news. *here no red glow* I'll be posting info ticket soon. Thanks for asking
