  2. Hey Genius our "VOLUNTEER ARMY" is not volunteering anymore and some of our Troops are on their 2nd and 3rd tours already. How long do you think we are going to keep this up before we either have to sacrifice the rest of our Reservists. Which mind you will leave the HOMELAND more vulnerable or re-install the DRAFT which will replenish our armed forces. Wake the fuck up! The draft would not be a choice just as it wasn't a choice in the 70's it is out of neccessity. It has been introduced into congress already this year and thankfully voted down in the senate. Read the Senate website or turn on CSPAN or CSPAN2 watch the circus clowns juggle all day. Votes on passages are posted all day. I support John Kerry most of all on Military Issues because OMG HE ACTUALLY SERVED IN A WAR AND SAVED LIVES! While that overly-pampered frat boy with a ten gallon hat sends my cousins to fight and die when he never has done more than play cards in a officers commissary.

The crowd was stomping and cheering till 7am. Well done boys. You have to love when Deep Dish plays in NYC. All these great people show up all like the Yoshitoshi/Bullitt peeps Christian, Arash & Kris. The Italians, Arabella, Guilio and everyone from Angels of Love in Riccione. Oh god and P. 13. WASHINGTON (AP) -- All he wanted were the facts. But Dick Cheney ended up generating confusion-- and lots of it. A slip of the tongue by the vice president during Tuesday night's debate with Sen. John Edwards led Web surfers to a site run by George Soros, a billionaire who makes no secret of his opposition to the Bush administration. In answering a question about his involvement with Halliburton, Cheney meant to direct people to FactCheck.org, a nonpartisan site run by the University of Pennsylvania's Annenberg Public Policy Center. He urged people watching the debate to go to the site for facts countering Edwards' statements about the corporation Cheney used to run. But Cheney cited FactCheck.com, a for-profit advertising site based in the Cayman Islands. The company decided to redirect traffic to the Soros site after it became inundated with hits -- about 100 a second after the debate, John Berryhill, a Philadelphia lawyer for FactCheck.com, said Wednesday. "This was to relieve stress on the service and to express a political point of view," said Berryhill, who spoke with the site's administrators shortly after the debate ended. They picked Soros not only for his political views, Berryhill said, but because the billionaire could afford the costly deluge of hits the site would receive in the wake of the debate. Plus, the site administrators didn't want to point surfers to a candidate's site that was asking for money. Web site operators typically pay fees to the companies that host their sites. The more hits a site receives, the more its operator pays. Soros was not advised of the switch and did not know it had taken place until Wednesday, said a spokesman, Jeremy Ben-Ami. "We are as surprised as anyone by this turn of events but certainly encourage voters to visit both of these valuable sites," Michael Vachon, a senior aide to Soros, said in a statement. An unprecedented number of visitors to FactCheck.org caused the site to crash several times Wednesday, said Brooks Jackson, the site's director. From CNN.com
  14. Actually the article I post was taken from the Fox News Site it originally came from the Associated Press.
  15. Please Bush is a tool and Cheney worse did you see the debate last night. The man is a complete jackass. Here from FOX News even they are starting to turn. VP's Claim About Meeting Edwards Debunked Wednesday, October 06, 2004 CLEVELAND — Vice President Dick Cheney (search) said Tuesday night that the debate with Democratic Sen. John Edwards (search) marked the first time they had met. In fact, the two had met at least three times previously. Cheney made the remark while accusing Edwards of frequent absences from Senate votes. "Now, in my capacity as vice president, I am the president of Senate, the presiding officer. I'm up in the Senate most Tuesdays when they're in session. The first time I ever met you was when you walked on the stage tonight," Cheney told Edwards during the debate. On Feb. 1, 2001, the vice president thanked Edwards by name at a Senate prayer breakfast and sat beside him during the event. On April 8, 2001, Cheney and Edwards shook hands when they met off-camera during a taping of NBC's "Meet the Press," moderator Tim Russert said Wednesday on "Today." On Jan. 8, 2003, the two met when the first-term North Carolina senator accompanied Elizabeth Dole to her swearing-in by Cheney as a North Carolina senator, Edwards aides also said. Edwards didn't forget their prayer-breakfast meeting. The Democratic vice presidential candidate noted the discrepancy at a post-debate rally in a Cleveland park, calling it an example of Cheney "still not being straight with the American people." "The vice president said that the first time I met Senator Edwards was tonight when we walked on the stage. I guess he forgot the time we sat next to each other for a couple hours about three years ago. I guess he forgot the time we met at the swearing in of another senator. So, my wife Elizabeth reminded him on the stage," Edwards said as the crowd roared. According to Edwards' staff, Cheney replied, "Oh, yeah." "She reminded him about the truth," Edwards told the crowd, "and come November, we're going to remind him that the American people do not want four more years of George W. Bush." Cheney such a moron!
